14I honestly have no idea how this place has so many 5 star reviews. I hate to leave bad reviews, but my experience with this place is far from acceptable. When I first walked in for my very first appointment, I stood there for several minutes before the person at the first window even looked up to acknowledged me, so I went to the second window where finally someone greeted me and asked for my name. I felt like I was interrupting them with my presence. Then I was brought back to the exam room. The lady who performed the initial exam was very nice as well as the doctor. After my exam as I left the waiting area, I looked for someone to acknowledge me and again nobody said a thing or thanked me for coming in. I just said good-bye and walked out without even an acknowledgment. When I came back to get my trial pair of contact lenses, they were just handed to me. Normally when I would go the Walmart Vision Center, I would meet with the doctor and try them on and the doctor would make sure they fit so I could get them ordered right away. Nope.just handed to me and told to call in if I want to get them ordered. A few weeks went by and with busyness of the holiday season, I neglected to call and get them ordered. I was actually surprised that noone followed up with me to see if I wanted to get them ordered. I called from work during my break right before the new year and was not able to get ahold of anyone and I did not leave a message at that time because I was at work and would not be able to take the call. I had planned to call again after work, but forgot until it was too late in the day. I called and left a message this time on January 1st, and still never received a call back. Obviously I would not have expected a call back on a holiday, so I gave it a few days. Still no return call. Had to call again on January 4th and now I have to use my insurance for 2024 instead of it going on my insurance for 2023. I am not impressed with their communication and follow-up whatsoever. I would have stayed with Walmart Vision Center, but they do not accept my new insurance. I will not be using ICare again. I will find another vision center that will accept my insurance and provide better customer service and communication. I have been in customer service for over 25 years, and this was not acceptable customer service whatsoever. Not only has their lack of follow-up and communication been frustrating, but now my insurance for 2024 is used up and it's the first of the year so this will cause me financial detriment down the road when I have no insurance left for 2024 to cover the cost of additional contact lenses or glasses.
ICare was FANTASTIC! My 6 year old has autism and the entire staff was incredibly patient throughout the process. They were willing to do multiple tests in order to correctly finish the exam. They were encouraging the entire time and I’m beyond grateful!
I was a few minutes late since my appointment was at 12: 15 and I thought it was at 12: 30. I waited until 2pm I had to reschedule for 1/4/2023.
Excellent care, and patient with me. Not excited with the findings, but Icare explained and handled it well.

Everyone was welcoming and professional. Dr. Franco took her time and answered all my questions. The visit was pleasant. Excellent customer service from everyone.
I love that they think outside the box to give me options for distance sight and reading a book or working on my computer.
I was able to make an appointment as a new customer the same day and the Dr was great! Seemed very genuine!
Really enjoy everyone at iCare vision. Doctor is great, and they go out of their way to help you.
Superior eye care. We have been coming here for years, and have always been pleased with their efficiency and attention to detail. The staff is kind and professional.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in and communicated that I wanted contact lenses they said they could get me in and didn’t say anything else until my exam where I found out that I’d have to pay an extra $100+ to take a “class” for contact lenses. NO OTHER EYE DOCTORS DO THIS. This place is a SCAM stay away if you can!
ICare Vision Center provides such a caring, professional and trusting experience. Dr. Wineland has always exhibited impressive knowledge and in my 70 years never had this much confidence as i do with the care he and his staff have provided for my family and myself compared to any
other medical service.
