Inchin's Bamboo Garden reviews
17We had unlimited buffet here today. It was one of the worst Indian food we had. Buffet was 18$/person. Veg fritters were full of oil. All curries were not fresh/tasteless. Daal was only with turmeric and salt. Rice was really hard/not fresh. There was not many items in menu. Just couple of appetizers, 3 curries, daal and rice. One of the worst experience. DO NOT COME AT ALL! When we gave review to one of the restaurant member about it and he just smiled and left.
This place has two names apparently. Saffron Patch and this Inchin's Bamboo Garden. Looking at Inchin's Bamboo Garden website it says this location is closed until October. We went on Sept. 21 so maybe they just opened?
I was very found of a restaurant Saffron Patch in Akron Ohio and hoped this would be similar. It wasn't really.
We came here with my wife and 2 year old. Pretty much as soon as we arrived the waiter came by wife two small slices of what appeared to be white birthday cake and put in front of our 2 year old.
We took the gesture to mean it was going to be a while to get our food along with they were doing their best to keep the 2 year old happy for our sake and the sake of other patrons of the restaurant.
There was a drug rep with a group in the back room that took the one waiter's time and two other tables were occupied when we arrived. My wife took a long time to decide what she wanted (the menu has quite a lot of options just to read through) and more people came on after us. We didn't place our order for about 10-15 minutes after arrival and got our food about 35 minutes after arrival (20-25 minute wait for food).
We got chicken tikka masala, paneer and vegetables. Wife doesn't like spice and we were sharing everything so ordered low spice level. We asked if we could do no rice and additional vegetables instead and were told no.
Paneer and vegetables were good. The chicken tikka masala was ok. There was not much chicken in it. Our two year old ate the rice.
I took the masala sauce home and added much more chicken to it than what was in it originally and warmed it. Much better as a left over meal with the chicken in it that should have been there in the first place. My guess is they expect people to use the rice as a filler for the sauce and we didn't.
There is a buffet on the weekends advertised for $18 but was not available during our dinner visit.
Do not order from here unless you want sample size portions and want to deal with rude people on the phone! The food was NOT good. The chicken tasted like the day before and was definitely reheated. The samosas were not cooked thoroughly and were doughy. Yuck! Save your money and go to biryani hut their prices are more reasonable, fresh, with reasonable portion sizes!
The menu was very extensive, ranging from assorted Asian dishes, to Indian street food, to Indian and South Asian specialties. I ended up ordering the Kashmiri lamb curry and asked that they make it extra spicy, and they did! They weren’t shy about turning up the heat, which I appreciate. The dish was very delicious.
This is combined restaurant of 3 different restaurants. I heard about Inchon bambo restaurant so I visited but then I got to know there are two more restaurants are also inside here. The two restaurants are chapati Ghar and saffron patch indian restaurant. You will be served food from all the menu that’s good thing. Inside it’s big restaurant. I tried couple of Indian and Chinese and tasted well. If you love Indian food then you can try this one.
This place is underrated. The atmosphere is clean and upscale as compared to the plastic chair driven Indian restaurants. The service is good but could be better. Can totally see this place as the hangout for professionals during happy hour/ if they ever introduce it
Buffet is waste of money. Food was cold, horrible, no taste whatsoever, service was ok, wish food had taste.
Not going there anymore, new cooks moreover all students, have no clue how to cook anything.
Money wasted, not going anymore.
I like this place it has great food, and they are innovative and best venue for a party the interiors are awesome, I like the mother's day party that happened here earlier this month and it was fantastic with all the starters and the beverages served.
Go for lunch Buffet not for dinner. Used to be great Indo-Chinese food, not anymore. Salt was missing in every oriental dish, asked for Salt shaker - may be they ordered it after I asked, might show up in a week. Wait, i already left the restaurant.
Wish given no stars. Recently order Hakka noodles, lowest taste ever tasted. Vegetables used tasted like expired. Noodle itself tasteless. Not ordering or visiting again.
We were hoping to go to Saffron Patch. We read the menu online, but when we got there, it was a completely different menu, couldn’t decide if it was Bamboo Garden, which was on the menu, or Saffron Patch who’s shirt the waiter was wearing. At the end, the menu was more Chinese than Indian, we could not find one thing we were going for.
Always greeted warmly. Food is quick and delicious. The staff all seem happy to see you and its is a great place to have a nice dinner or buffet lunch.
I ordered hot and sour soup just 15 mins ago and it was so watery and oily. When I opened the box, there was a strong smell of wine and I had to close it back and threw it without taking a single spoon. Stupid people do not know how to make anything. Waste of time and money. I drove here for 30 mins.
We went there for weekend buffet as Tadka known to be for best buffet in this area. Their ownership has been changed and so does the buffet.
I would first talk about good things from buffet. Soup, Paneer Taco, Dosa, Chicken Chilly, Papdi chat and Gulab Jamun was good
The bad points was except above everything, Chicken Makhani and Korma both were awful, Tandoori chicken was not good. Vegetables and curries were not up to the mark. Everything was mild and prepared for local crowd and not a single dish has Indian flavor. This is the first place where in Buffet Biryani was missing.
For $18 buffet, this place is very overpriced and not worth to try anymore.
This restaurant was amazing! The food was just the right amount if spicy and the ambiance was wonderful. Our server was amazing. This was our first time here, and she was very helpful. We can't remember exact name, but she was so nice. We definitely will be returning here for another dinner.
Had the weekend buffet.starters/snacks were good.loved the paneer taco. Main course was OK for my "indian" taste buds. I would still recommend the place.
If you have never been to this place treat yourself. Incredible food and friendly staff. Hit up Zarna total sweetheart and passionate about the food and culture. Had a great time and will return for the buffet.
