Independence Community Theater reviews
4“Anything Goes” was our first time here and we saw the first show, the last show, and two between. Love the venue, love the show!
Their performances are always enjoyable.
Some snacks are available before the show and during the intermission.
The plays are held on the second floor and is not handicap accessible.
We rented the Elmwood building for a rehearsal dinner. When we arrived the day of and tried to get in, the key wouldn't work. When we went to the office, we were told that we were actually in the theater. The place was run down, looking and dirty looking. After some decorations, we had the place looking nice.
Indepence Community Theatre was our Date Night last Saturday evening. It was a pleasant surprise. Very amusing. Not LOL funny, but clever with True Love Romanticism winning out over some unbeknownst plot twists.
The actors are well seasoned with a small contingency of younger actors who added youthful energy.
Judi Kaye has been in theater for some 60 years. She grounded this Romantic Comedy.
The pictures she and wifey are holding at the end of the play are family members when they were young.
Arts are wonderful Blessings from God. Amen.
