Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Taxpayer Assistance Center reviews
19Don't waste your time was transferred 4x and nothing was resolved but getting hung up on. Last lady sound like she was on drugs or hungover. Seriously a waste of an hr.
I have nothing good to say. I have been trying for over an hour and keep hearing the same prompts. I have finally got put on hold and was told by the automated voice i may be on hold 30-60 min. I better plug my phone in. I'm not losing my place in line
Went in due to a letter that was sent about fraud. Drove all the way downtown, paid for parking, and they gave me a number that you can never talk to anyone. Nobody assist me and you can't make appointments or speak to anyone at their office.
They do not accept walk in and it has no signage outside, the building is on the corner and irs is 2nd floor
The IRS In Kansas City, MO sent my Third Stimulus Check to The Wrong Account The Account was an open account. Someone Contacted the IRS and Changed My account. I live in Toledo, Ohio my Wife and I always had the same account. I'm Tired of writing The IRS in Kansas City, MO
No way to get through to anyone and the line claims their call Valium is too high and to call back next business day. I've done this every single day this week to no avail in attempting to get a W2 from Herco LLC in Auburn Hills who is refusing to allow me access to my tax documents currently.
Tried calling this number yesterday and after being on hold for 5 minutes a message came on saying due to the amount of calls my call couldn't be taken and to try again later. Called again today, went through an annoying amount of selections, and was on hold for a few minutes when all of a sudden I heard a baby crying and nobody said anything before I was hung up on.
Rule is you must have an appointment for certain services and others there isn't an option to make an appointment for because its a simple print and stamp but this office won't let you do that and they are seeing who they want without an appointment. #restaff
I’ve been on hold for TWO HOURS And I still have not been helped. This is not my first attempt to contact the IRS for assistance, but they will try to say that I didn’t contact them In a timely fashion from the letter that I received. Why is it so hard to speak to a live person? Why is it I can’t speak to someone at my local IRS office?
They never have any information for me but has been holding my refund for almost 12 weeks. Im getting a attorney. My advice for you all, get an attorney!
They never answer the phone. They need to hire more people because they need help answering the phone.
No matter how early you call them they never answer and they never update the refund status I dont have any liens or offsets so why have ppl like me waiting nearly 3 months for our refunds? Update the website let people know when they getting anything back this don't make no sense at all!
They told me I couldn't do a payment trace so don't even waste your time calling for that they are not helpful at all he didn't even want to provide his name he told me rudely I don't have to give you my name which All I wanted to do is say thank you which I still did even though he was super rude told him I appreciate there service have a nice day, they clearly don't have any home training or customer support.
They never answer phone calls and they won't give me updates horrible service. This is the first time I haven't gotten a date that I'm expected to get my returns is been there for almost a month with zero change why even file early or ever. You can't count on them for nothing unless you owe them.
The office was hard to find, but we were treated properly. It doesn't have a waiting area for more than 2 people so it can be trouble for families. Otherwise, we were able to get our work done with COVID protocols.
Filed my short form taxes electronically four months ago and still no refund. The IRS stalks and harasses people for money owed, but when it comes to their ability to give me my own money back it’s nothing but stall tactics and thievery.
Noticed with all the guys that I have filed unemployment with, Toledo is the only one getting anything done and processed. Two of my friends are getting paid and the thing the they have in common is theirs were processed in Toledo.
You really can't get assistance for the things it won't allow you to do online, there are questions that I can not find the answer to online
It's ant easy but us as people ant on time always complying not listen over talking staff so both parts are hard alone my visits were 90% ok
