The woman that helped us rent our golf cart for 1 1/2 hours on the island at a total of $108.00 was so rude from start to finish. A person like her should be fired for treating customer like she treated us! I would never rent from this place again! Just go a few steps and rent from one of the other golf cart rental locations on the island.

Horrible service. Price gouging. Charged a friend $290 for a one day six person cart. TWICE as much as anyone else. When I returned and complained the female manager suggested a rent somewhere else.

Do NOT rent from island cart rental. Adam was SUPPOSED to call me to rectify the matter and you guessed it…dead air.

The bikes were fine, but the lack of transparency and the pricing was not. We called the day before our island visit and got the automated line. Upon pressing “3” for information on bikes, the woman’s voice recording told us that bikes were $15 for the day. Upon trying to rent bikes this morning, we were told $25 for the day. I explained to the cashier that the automated phone line said $15 and she said we must have called the wrong place despite the phone number on the receipt we were given being the exact same one I called. They claimed the price had never been $15. Change your phone message if you don’t want customers to be misled because we were very disappointed.

I think it is overpriced, but the golf cart did last us an entire day. We went over everywhere on the map. The golf cart we had rented had an issues with braking but it still worked. The steering wheel needed a realignment. Not to mention there was a long line that we had to wait for 20 minutes under the sun. The lady who served us also had an attitude. But did the golf cart do the job? Yeah, it did.

Super vague information when I called about pricing. Couldn’t give me a rental price for the following day.

My son, grandson and I came off Miller Ferry and rented a golf cart at Island Bike & Cart Rental. The fee was fixed at a daily rate and a golf cart was tendered to us. Very quickly we realized the cart was mechanically deficient and extremely slow. In fact, other carts of the same make rented at the same location were passing us with ease enroute to downtown. Upon reaching one of the downtown resorts, the resort owner was gracious enough to let us borrow one of his carts to make our rounds. Enroute back we picked up the leased cart and headed back to Island Bike for the return. Upon returning, I expressed my deep displeasure with the quality of the cart and was told "no refunds" and Island Bike specifically disclaims the slowness of its carts. In short, I DO NOT recommend this business, either for its quality of product or its dismissive attitude.

Terrible experience! We showed up at 5: 30 pm, wanting to rent a 2 person cart for an hour. That wasn't an option. They charged us the day rate at $54.25. It was slower than nearly every cart on the road, and the parking brake was faulty/loose. I have driven carts my entire life, so when I returned the cart 2 hours later to have an employee rush me to get out and repeatedly demand that I engage the parking brake (as if it was my fault), it just reinforced the fact that I will never return to this establishment. Go somewhere else where the carts run faster, are without fault and are definitely less expensive.

Great experience. Golf cart rental is not too expensive and is a must if you are going to explore Put In Bay Island. Worked great. They have rentals that seat six of us comfortably.

Great customer service! We have rented carts from various places on the island, but usually come in on the Jet Express. We took our son over for the first time this weekend and came in on the Miller Ferry. Island Bike Rental was so great to us! It is the first time we've come over as a family, so we weren't really sure of exactly what to do. Even though they were busy, they took the time to point out some cool things on a map. I saw some reviews that said their cart was slow. The cart we got was a little slower than previous ones we had, but honestly, what are you that in a hurry for when you're visiting the island? It's just a nice ride anywhere you go and we really didn't mind at the end of the day. Will definitely rent our carts from here going forward.

Two bikes for a day was $65. Their bikes didn't have the mechanical clutch brakes but they apply brakes to the drivetrain by reversing the crank arms? I could ride fine but my girlfriend wasn't comfortable (she isn't comfortable with many things) so we ended up asking for reimbursement after test riding. The bikes are also all one size fits most. But honest business nevertheless.

For 20 years we have always used them when visiting the Island. Went to tour the Benson Ford Ship house. Their 4 person cart was $151.00, that’s about twice as much as before. We’ll be taking the bus into town and renting in the future!

My daughter left her phone in one of the cart rental and they refused to ship me my daughter phone after I told them I would pay for it and they kept giving me the run around stating that a manager would call me and never did

This is a rip off! 150 $ for one day and terrible service. Don’t rent here. Take the bus and rent somewhere else or also before your trip reserve a cart at E’s (it’s just crossing the street) and you’ll pay half of what would you pay here. You’ll save money and headache.

Their rates apparently vary. We rented a cart last summer during the height of the pandemic and it wasn't as busy as normal seasons. We paid like $40 for an all day cart rental. This time we paid over $105 for all day rental. It was crazy. So if i were you i would walk a block or so off the ferry or take the bus shuttle to other side of the island and rent on little further in. The next place down was $40 less. We realized after we had paid for ours. Craziness. Also the cart apparently they have set to go below whatever speed ours barely went 15mph. We had mad people around us constantly. Just word of advice.

Conveniently located right up the exit from the Miller Ferry! Rentals aren't due back at least when we went til 845. Perfect! We rented before from another one and had to be back by 6pm. So nice to have some extra time to explore!
