I’ve lived here for almost 2 years and the staff is amazing helping with anything you need
They always respond or are at the office to fix any issues
The manager Nesha is very welcoming and positive and always tries to solve any problems that come up.

It was 1of the nice places that I lived in.
But The new management team is really not supportive, have no enough experience to manage, no information to support, trying to complicate everything, giving wrong information
I really don’t recommend this place anymore to anyone.

The parking here is NON-EXISTENT, especially if you pay rent. I would rather drive around on my rims for the rest of my life, listening to metal on concrete, than pay any portion of the rent for parking here. It’s an absolute joke and nothing is enforced for making sure renters can park remotely near their apartment. Either people are occupying rentals who are not on leases, or I have no friends and everyone else is hosting dinner parties every evening. I moved away from campus to avoid having to park blocks away from my place, looks like I didn’t have to move at all. Thanks Island Club

Terrible front desk. Car got towed where it doesn’t even say I couldn’t park, front desk only cares about themselves hopefully management fixes staffing

The staff DOES NOT CARE! You can beg for help and they’ll laugh at you. I’m really wishing these staff gets removed or better training.

I would rate 0 stars if I could, the people in the office are terrible and unhelpful. If you take the slightest look at them you’ll know what I mean

Apartment was filthy when I moved in. Looks nothing like the display. Pictures on what to expect are below. The heat did not work at all but was fixed immediately so kudos to staff. Toilets are for 5 yr Olds, so very small. The trim is horrible, never seen such a bad product used. Paint and wall repair jobs are atrocious, 2yr old could do better. Hallway walls are falling apart and doors/locks need updating badly. Looks like black mold in ceiling. Bathroom was disgusting and hardware is rusting.
If you can get a lower price and your good at decorating/cleaning it is livable. Problems are fixed pretty fast and if you call the office they do try to help. However, they will never call you to follow up with stuff so be prepared to be "That person. " The HP hub is an example of what will come out of vents they will refuse to clean. So if you have allergies I would simply advise you not to move here. Really disappointed as the sample unit is beautiful.

I lived here in 2019, left on good terms after having to break my lease due to military orders (gave them proper notice and left without owing money as well). I just found out that they filed an eviction against me with the courts in 2023 (three years after I left). Because of this I am unable to secure a good house to rent for my family now because I have an eviction on my record. Worst part is, I got a letter from them stating that it was a mistake, but yet they haven’t contacted the courts to get it removed from my record. This kind of incompetence is life ruining. I can say that you should never trust an organization that makes this kind of mistake. To make a mistake four years after the fact is inexcusable.

Don’t live here. The staff is horrible and incompetent (a few are very kind- but otherwise the worst of the worst), there are hidden fees that they don’t say ahead of time, they WILL try to scam you into paying for things you shouldn’t have to pay for, and they truly do not care about the people living here (didn’t fix my ac when it was the middle of July and was 85 in my place until a few days of consistent prompting- emergency line isn’t a thing that works EVER). It’s a beautiful place, such a shame the people who run it ruin it. The maintenance guys are all very kind- the managers suck. If you are in a pinch, don’t sign for long! I promise you’ll want out, and to break your lease you have to pay double your rent. I was stupid and signed for a 14 month lease. I thought it was the most perfect place and the woman who initially showed me around was so kind- I haven’t seen here since. Nice employees don’t stick around (and I can’t blame them). I’ve been waiting to write this review because I kept hoping it would get better, but it’s unfortunately just gotten worse. On the bright side, they’ve taught me how to be assertive!

Worst customer service if you have an accent or if you are Hispanic you will be treated like trash. AyNessha the Assistant Manager always has an attitude super rude, communication with in the office (meaning between AyNessha and what ever manager is there now) is none let alone with maintenance to get anything done. You will be nickled and dimed by the management company "policy" move out charges that are made up will be charged reported to the 3rd party compa y you have to pay a deposit to when moving in and then double charge by the apartment company. STAY AWAY!

I like living here. The maintenance crew quick on their feet! As for the office people; Neesha, she’s very responsive and sweet.

I've been living here the past couple of years. The staff here are great! Especially AyNessha, she has gone above and beyond to fix any problem that arises. She's quick on responding to all my emails and calls. She's awesome!

I've lived in a variety of places post-college. This is still the best, even if management changes every 2 years or so. It has nice amenities and a great pool.

Before my lease was up, I made a report to maintenance that my ceiling was filling in multiple places and dripping with water in my living room near the kitchen. They never responded to that report. A small portion of the ceiling ended up caving in and would leak water on my carpet. (I included a pic of what I’m talking about- it’s small but it still happened and was kinda gross). I had put in my 2 month notice by then, so I was just glad to get out but still. Things were fine until that point so i was shocked they just let that happen. Additionally, I stayed at IC for over two years, but around the last 6 months, I started seeing random dead beetles in my stuff.fridge, car trunk, computer desk. They were small and brown and seemed harmless and I did live directly behind one of the lakes but it was still unexpected and unwelcomed.

I’ll admit, I’m leaving this review a little late (I left in 2021), but I saw a Reddit post still complaining about IC so I figured I’d make a comment as well to let folks know what they might be getting into. You should also know that management told residents that they would get some kind of discount if they left a review for the apartment complex. They announced it once or twice while I lived there and I think it was like $50 off or something.that could be where the good reviews are coming from.

My experience here has been a huge up and and down battle but once new management came my experience has been a lot better. Nesha is amazing and has been very helpful and responsive.

I have been working with Island club since May. I was originally working with Jackie, and then AyNessha. Both of these ladies have been amazing. It is extremely unnerving to move across the country, and they have done their best to help ease that anxiety. Choosing a new home, site unseen is beyond painful, add that into a huge misunderstanding on what apartment, and disaster can ensue. Nessha has gone above and beyond to fix the mistake, get me into a better apartment and has been so patient with my constant emails, calls, questions, and concerns. She has responded quickly which has been so encouraging. Hopefully once I am a tenant things are actually just as amazing as she is.

Update: june/27/23
Very bad service to the tenant, the maintenance service is useless. I have been without air conditioning for almost 1 year, many reports were made about it and they said they were going to fix it but they NEVER DID. Thank God I only have a month left in this apartment. I honestly do not recommend this place to live. If I could I would give it -0 stars. I have had many problems with the apt apart from the air conditioning and they never solved me. If you are looking for a good place to live where you get good service THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU.
