Ivory House, Cincinnati OH

I'm staying in cincy for business and was bored, so decided to drop into Random Inclusive Restaurant on Google with my wife. We were very pleasantly surprised from the moment we stepped inside, we didn't really look into it before going, so it was more upscale than I'd expected. The staff and atmosphere are great. She had a ribeye that was absolutely perfect, and I got the crab encrusted sea bass, which was just the slightest bit undercooked but still great. The bread is 10/10 and they aren't stingy with the alcohol in the cocktails. We will definitely be back, next time with a bigger appetite because the crab cakes and dessert menu look amazing.

Sunday brunch with my two children was fantastic! The ambiance, food, everything was perfect. We had crab cakes Benedict, pancakes with fruit compote, shrimp and grits and for dessert, the cinnamon roll. Worth every penny! Wonderful all around and can’t wait to go back.

Very elegant atmosphere. Fine dining at its finest. From the food to the waiter, everything was tremendous. I have no complaints, only compliments. Ivory is the perfect eats for a romantic or intimate occasions.

R loves a good tomahawk and had two to choose from: steak or pork chop. He went with the pork.
I can’t pass up a good diver scallop, so I had the scallops and tagliatelle. It was perfect! Perfect scallops and perfect pasta.
The service was excellent.

The atmosphere upon entering is amazing, especially with the live piano music. All of the staff are very energetic and personable. For our appetizer, we ordered crab cakes which come with an amazing remoulade. My date ordered the wagyu with mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, and grilled onions and mushrooms. The wagyu looked beautiful and melted in your mouth with the sides all being a perfect compliment to it. I ordered the crab encrusted sea bass which comes with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. The sea bass was cooked perfectly to not fall apart while still melting in your mouth and the crab paired amazing with it. As a side for both of us, we ordered the lobster risotto. The risotto was very flavorful and the lobster mixed in added to the flavor. For dessert, I ordered the 24k magic drink while my date ordered a carrot cake to go. The gold dust on my drink was an interesting taste but when mixed with the drink it made it taste like white chocolate. My dates carrot cake is probably the best carrot cake I've tasted as it goes for a diverse flavor profile rather than pure sweetness.

Attentive service and excellent food. I've been with larger groups twice, and the wait staff managed our multiple orders seamlessly.

Possibly the best restaurant on the west side of town.definitely the most expensive! Very good seafood dishes, especially the specials like smoked scallop risotto. Average steaks, not as good as many other Cincinnati area steak places, especially for the prices charged. Pretty good attentive service but a bit slow at taking orders, getting drinks or bringing the food to the table. Comfortable seating. Nice ambiance including a player piano.excellent unisex bathrooms.free parking in the back.

The food was outstanding. The chef made the food to allow for our food allergies and the fact that one person was vegan. Everything was delicious. Thanks for a wonderful dinner.

First time Had the best experience very worth every dollar a must go if you haven’t been guy bartender had make great drinks

Our waiter was Awesome, the ambiance was perfect for the occasion. FOOD WAS SUB PAR Two of the dinners in the party asked for medium well steaks and the steaks were under cooked may as well have walked to the table. They took the the steaks and cooked them longer instead of giving them new steaks that they were paying $100 for. I would've declined and ordered something else. The birthday girl, Me, didn't even eat her shrimp and grits. They spent too much time decorating the plate and not enough time making the meal taste good.

Absolutely wonderful visit. The deviled eggs starter was good. The bread was amazing. I had the ultimate surf and turf and everything was cooked perfectly. The only negative was the steak was a little salty (salt rub aging maybe). My wife was happy with her NY strip. For sides we had blistered carrots, whipped potatoes, and scalloped potatoes all of which were delicious, especially the scalloped potatoes. We had the seasonal creme brulee for dessert expecting the seasonal part to be something along the way of fresh berries on top, but it was pumpkin flavored. It wasn't horrible but had we asked or been told what it was we would have gotten something else. I have low expectations for male servers but Fernando was excellent. Only four stars for the atmosphere because we were seated in the small room to the side of the piano and it was loud, the overall atmosphere was five stars.

My fiance and I had the most amazing time celebrating our two year anniversary here. First time coming and I must say, the staff and customer service were unparalleled to anything we've had before. Every staff member we interacted with wished us a happy anniversary, our waiter (a incredible gentleman but I can't remember his name for the life of me, he had a slight accent) was phenomenal, very attentive, very quick to ensure the food was out still hot and that our drinks were never empty. The host guiding us to the table was kind and mentioned our celebration. I really have to say, I've been to multiple fine dining places from Nicolas, Boca, The Capital Grille, Primavista, JR Steakhouse, and having grown up in westwood I am thrilled to say this place really stands above and apart from a lot of the places I just listed. Offering a fine dining experience with stellar customer service and the food quality and presentation? *chefs kiss* my compliments to not only front end but back room praise has to be said the food was incredible.

You guys and gals at Ivory House really made what could have just been another night at another nice restaraunt truly something to be remembered, we will most definitely be repeat guests.

Wonderful atmosphere service was one of the best I've ever received. The food was amazing. Highly recommend this place.

I love sitting at the bar on a week night and chatting with the GM and her team. Great food, drinks and conversation.
