Sandwich Shop Izzy's reviews
22I love, love Izzys BUT I have to drive a total of 80 miles to eat there. Obviously I don't eat there often. As I type this, I'm thinking about a road trip. Dont tell my husband!
Great food & good atmosphere. Employees are very friendly. Don't know how Izzy would like that. Grandpa told me that he was a "friendly jerk".
Very busy for lunch today, had to wait for service but once I did they made up for it by far. Enjoyed the New Yorker. Very good sandwich with lots of meat!
Really excellent little deli that had great and friendly service. Service was fairly quick as well, so good place for a fast business lunch. Excellent Reuben sandwich, well stacked with pastrami. Soups were also very good if you desire something lighter. Clean restaurant, restrooms no problems. Spoke with owner who was pleasant and happy for our business. Overall, much recommended.
The food is constantly well prepared and delightful, staff members provides fantastic customer service. I loved how neat it is and mood. Highly recommended.
For those people that think Izzys is overpriced, it's obvious that they haven't purchased quality deli meat. The service is fast and friendly. It takes a little while to cook, but that's because they slice and grill to order. For those who think it's too expensive I suggest baloney. I am 6'7" and weigh a little under 300 lbs. I ate half my sandwich, and my side, and had to save the rest for later. I was very full.
Always loved the reuben sandwich, but now, since I am on a low carb diet, don't have to miss it, as they have a reuben salad! The service has always been friendly and personable.
Very dirty environment, tacky tables and chairs, over priced deli sandwiches, they are nearly 11 bucks? I’d rather order a pizza, pretty sure the sandwich maker lazy is a racist against white people, this place needs a revamp and Better service
So many different choices for those of us who don't eat red meat! I'm impressed! My King-Husband and I will be back!
Simply the best Reuben sandwich this side of Katz's Deli in NYC or ATX. A Cincinnati tradition for decades this family owned restaurant wows with great portions and high quality food. The potato pancakes are addictive. If you are in the Cincinnati area, go, your taste buds will thank you.
I love reuben sandwiches and this place has the best sandwiches, potato square and their pickles are awesome
Izzy's is a Cincinnati favorite. Its very unique. They have the best Reubens, as well as something for everyone. Love some Izzy's
Great food, great spot to relax (atomosphere), and a great service. 10/5 stars for me, love this place!
Although the food was good and the service was fast. I feel that the menue items are grossly over priced for what you receive. I've eaten at delies all over the country so I know what a true cornbeef sandwich should look like. I spent over $10 bucks for a half cornbeef and swiss on rye with a greasy potato pancake. Not impressed with the food quantity. I wont spend my money here again during my next visit to the area.
Very rude! Boyfriend and I went in there. I had never been. Boyfriend kissed me on the cheek in a jokingly gesture and I'm assuming the owner and/or manager very rudely said, "this isnt lovers lane". I dont know if he would have said it had my boyfriend been white like me I found it very unprofessional and rude. It's not like we had our tongues down each others throat. It was a kiss on the cheek. Smh.
The definitive reuben. Everything is great. Latkas and pickles are amazing. The pickles are better than anything from Kroger and a huge jar of them is only a couple dollars.
Today's lunch was nasty. The corned beef was not what I had last month. Was it old corned beef? Was it old chipped ham? Please serve hot soup. I do not remember the thousand island dressing runny. The potatoes were good, but that is it. The owner was not there today. The guys back there need to be canned and are completely useless to the company. I will not be back.
Great food, fast service for made to order food. Staff was friendly.have to say I will make the trip back to have another great meal. The dill pickle slices are worth the trip.
Great food great service Pleasant atmosphere clean environment. We will be going back many times. Potato pancakes are delicious.
