Jamie's Carpet Shop, Sandusky OH

Sandusky location - HORRIBLE Customer Service and NO WARRANTY! My elderly mother had Jamie's put new carpet in her house that she had saved up for 10 years and in a year after installation it started to bubble all over, it got so bad that it was a bad tripping hazard. The carpet she got was mid-grade, so it definitely should have held up. She called and spoke with the manager/owner and he said that after a year it is no longer under warranty and there was nothing he could do - unless she wanted them to come out and fix Their Screw Up, but of course she would have to Pay for it. I personally have had my carpet for over 25 years and not one little bubble anywhere - let alone it happening in a year after installation. Jamie's does NOT care about their customers or the quality of work they do. Please save yourself and your wallet and go with a different company to install your new carpet!
Needless to say, she had to hire a different company to come in and re-stretch the carpet. She had to pay for them to do it, but at least it was no more money in Jamie's pocket.

They did not measure right and short carpet so they had to return. Told me between 9 am and 11. At 10 they said half hour. They lied. Two hours later I called Jamie's more lies. I waited almost 5 hours. The guys that installed the carpet did a great job. The owner was very rude to me when I called. No way to run a business. I will never do business with them again. I feel they owe me for my time.

Our first business here. They were helpful, efficient, competitive. We picked from their in-stock carpet, and within a week, we were measured, bought and installed. Very happy w our purchase, dealings and work. Their installer did a very nice job and we couldn't be happier.
