The lack of a POS system suggests either a shocking level of ineptitude of the ownership, or a bush league attempt at tax avoidance. If they were Schmuckers it might be justifiable.

A classic diner with delicious food.i had an omelette with toast.it was perfect.when you're a vegetarian, one of the (perhaps unreasonable) things you worry about is the messy grill.you don't want to be the person that's like "and don't let that bacon grease get onto it", but it can negatively affect your experience if you discover a bit of something you didn't want in your food.here you can get a good view of the grill and the whole kitchen.it's clean and the cook does a great job of keeping the grill clean, and the food separated, even with how fast and intensely he was working.this is a great place. 10/10

My husband and I come here every once in a while. We have never been disappointed. The food is always good and hot. And the atmosphere is good. Might want to start taking credit cards because not too many people carry cash

Food is good but prices just went way up without even telling your valued customers. Something l paid $15 for is now totaling $22. You need to update your prices online and over the phone when people are calling in need to be told

It was good food, priced right with amount of food, friendly atmosphere and very good for take out but if dine in call ahead because busy with take out orders all time there.

Personally Love the service, it really counts. Although I asked as a habit for salt n pepper, it was already in the bag.

The food is good. But maybe if the waitress wasn't on her phone browsing she could seen my toast missing from my order. They don't accept credit cards or have use grubhub or uber eats

Great place. The food was hot and good. I had the Western Omelette the owners were the best. Very clean place. They have an open kitchen. Golden homemade hash browns with sautéed onions and green peppers. Service was fast and friendly! Thanks Ohio businesses that are welcoming us Michiganders!

I just love Jefferson Express, when I have visitors from out of town, I make sure I take them here for a gr8 meal. Such a friendly place.

Jefferson Express was awesome! It was lively and the conversation while I waited was enjoyable. I had a great experience at Jefferson Express and would definitely go back! The portions were generous and the cost was astoundingly low!

One of the best diners inside the city. The food is cheap without sacrificing quality and quantity. Don't miss out on their "secret" menu item the 'Big & Sexy'. Its every diabetic's nightmare but oh so sinful. Don't forget to pay for your meal cash only.

My father use to bring me here back in the 80's and 90's as I was born in 82. Jefferson Express has by far the best pancakes I have ever tasted. I have really yet to find any pancakes that can match JP pancakes. I miss this place and will forever love their food.

Ok place for tasty American food. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back. The bill was fair for the quality of food.
