Jerry's Cafe, Orrville OH

Waitress phenomenal! Decor was old diner feel with a modern flair. Got a burger w fries and OMG them fries! Super crispy and the burger was on point! Tried the onion rings w their sauce too and a definite must try! My daughter is super picky and ate almost all her lunch w no complaints. Will be back!

Food was decent, Our waitress kind of disappeared, assuming her shift ended, but didn't see her replacement for a long time. Finally put my credit card on the table to signal we were ready to leave.

Edit July 2023 - I returned again, this time the service was much better. We sat on the patio. Service was more of a team effort with numerous servers checking up on us to see if we needed anything, not just the server who took our order initially. They weren't super busy- we all thought it took a little longer than it should have for our food to arrive, but other than that, a much better experience this time.

Unable to give a fair review because we never got served. We arrived about 1pm and there was nobody to greet us. We finally walked on to open air area and a waitress said that we ‘could sit wherever we wanted but they were short staffed and she wasn’t sure when we she could get to us. ’ Never saw any other staff. We sat down and saw that there were about three tables near us that were empty and had not been cleared from previous diners. The plates on those empty tables were full of food that had not been eaten. That was concerning. We left. Outside we ran in to others having lunch there and they said that they had to wait for anyone to take their order and when the food arrived some in their party did not get any lunch and they told it was being cooked next.

The Staff is welcoming & friendly. Accommodating smokers & nonsmokers. The food is delicious and fulfilling!

My home away from home. Food is delicious, and the drink selection is top notch. Yeah, service can be slow sometimes, but the ladies do the best they can with the crew they have. Wonderful place. By far the best bar in the county. I can't stand to go anywhere else.

We ordered 2 fish dinners with ff and Cole slaw and grilled chicken salad, the fish was awful super greasy the breading was soggy they forgot the Cole slaw for the 1 dinner no salad dressing for the salad and fries were cold and hard! ¹

I found a hidden gem, the negative reviews have to be from a competing restaurant IMO, great food, a great local bar/grill vibe, I will definitely be back, service was also as expected and a little about other bat/grill i have been to.

Just went for drinks, not to eat. But I love the addition to the place. Very nice. Great service from lovely Jill

Jerry's is solid for a small town bar & grill. The food is decent. The majority of the fried food is obviously brought in frozen, but the fried fish appears freshly prepared. The real standouts are the burgers - you can't really go wrong with any of their burgers. Good selection of beers and ciders, and their cocktails are competent. Service is spotty, particularly if you're with a group, and occasionally less than hospitable. Overall, despite its flaws, Jerry's is decent enough that I'll continue to come back.

Been around a long time, Jerry's made it thru what others couldn't. Love the place
