John Allen House Bed & Breakfast

We had an amazing weekend at the John Allen house while visiting Xenia and Yellow Springs! Sherry, Wes, and their son were very welcoming and accommodating. We will definitely be back in the future!

Amazing house and host. Loved hearing the history of the house! Future plans for the place sound great too. Breakfast is continental but there are plenty of good options.

Wonderful historical home converted into a bed and breakfast. Well appointed, individually unique rooms provide a pleasant experience.

I’ll admit the John Allen house wasn’t our first choice but I’m really happy we chose to stay here for 2 nights! This Victorian house is incredibly beautiful with a lot of preserved history. Sherry was a lovely hostess who gave us great restaurant recommendations (we love to eat) and prepared the most delicious homemade apple pie. Our stay came with one continental breakfast made with fresh eggs and the tastiest milk that comes in pint sized glass containers straight from the farm. At the end of our stay, Sherry mentioned I looked particularly radiant that morning and turns out I was pregnant! Thank you for such a welcoming experience at our first B&B and leaving us with a fun memory. We will definitely come again if we’re ever in town!

It was clean. It was a beautiful house with fun history. The owner was kind and accommodating.

My place of choice, even time I stop in Xenia, while bicycling in the area. Great people with great accommodations. Very nice antiques, throughout the house.

The John Allen House is a perfect place to relax as one is surrounded by a beautiful Victorian house. Breakfast was very good.

Wonderful hospitality! Extremely clean and spacious home, beautiful 1800s architecture. Stunning woodwork, 10-foot doors and 12-foot ceilings! Will be stopping here whenever we are in the area! Right near downtown Xenia, and extremely reasonable rates. 10/10!

A great place to stay! Sherry and Wesley take good care of you and are good people! This was a bike trip. You can lock your bike in the garage overnight!

The new owners are awesome and the house is beautiful. It is good for rest and relaxation. Im very happy with my stay.

We spent 2 days with Sherry at the John Allen House B&B. The decor! Wow. The rooms are clean and we felt welcome and at home. Sherry and Wesley have ambitious plans for the place and we are looking forward to staying with them again when we visit Xenia again!

Grand old building. Rooms are Large and space is great. The couple that own the place are so nice. There's a pool table and many rooms. Nice yard. Nice neighborhood. Friendly town. I can't say enough about the place. We had a great time.
