John M. Coyne Recreation Center

I can’t even use my own rec center because the rules of admission change every day. Every time I go in there its a hit or miss if i’m able to come in.

My son has done baseball through the Rec for about 5 years now. And it's always awsome! Anything you need questions and requests get handled within the day if not the next day. Absolutely wonderful! Grateful to have a rec center that offers great activities for my kids.

Good ol city of Brooklyn doing their best to contribute to flash floods by paving over a bunch of natural drainage. Good job. Give yourself a pat on the back!

The lockerrooms are designed wrong as most of the lockers face the door so if someone is coming in people can see you changing. Most of the time you are on top of people to get the few working lockers away from the door. Pool deep end is usually closed due to lack of staff. Showers need update and floors are always dirty in the locker room. Lots of staff walking around doing nothing but looking at guests as they walk around the pool and continually making jokes about them which is very unprofessional. Pool floor usually dirty and looks like hasn't been updated in years. Most of the pool chairs are broken. No mats to work out on. This place is needs a renovation bad and surprised still open with 6 or 7 people that come every night. Looking at other places for the new year that arent as old and broken down.

Very nice facility, pretty clean, nice pools, cardio room, weight room, sauna, hot tub. Plenty of lockers.

Locker room now open. Can come anytime now. Wonderful staff. Nice pool inside and outside. Warm water! Fantastic Water Aerobics. Worderful staff! Terrific cleaning crew! Nice ice rink. Lots of hockey played here. Workout rooms lots of bikes!

I was just picking up materials that was loaded onto the wrong truck. Thank You Brooklyn it only cost me three hours out on the island.

Great recreation center. Very nice swimming pool and nice ice rink. The recreation center is very clean too.

Deep water class was awesome. Pool felt so good. Thanks for being open and allowing us seniors to use our Silver Sneakers by making a reservation for class

Great staff and programming for the whole family. The yoga instructors are great for all levels and Thursday nights with Janice are the best.

We were here for a couple quick games and it was a pretty run down rink. I am sure it has been around for a long time, but could use some upgrades and invest money back into it. Home to Saint Ignatius hockey team and there always fun to watch play. I can't speak to the pool or anything else as we were just there for hockey.
