Joy Park Community Center reviews
11AThis is where I go to vote. I do not go there for anything else. I am sure that it is a nice place. But it really is not offering anything else to do with me.
Nice park despite the area being shady as heck. Not a good place for young kids or teens to go alone. On some occasions it becomes quite full of hood rats and troublesome individuals.
Couldn't have a better spot in Akron for the kids to get out of their homes and enjoyed ourselves
Don't know too much about this place but it's a community center and they help kids and you can rent the hall out for events
My son goes here for after school program. It's convenient when I work during the hours he will be released from school. I feel it would be safer place if doors was locked and you had to be buzzed in. Other than unlocked doors, my son loves the facility.
Not bad this time.we were able to talkc about our favorite books we like to read and talk about homework like the boys and girls club when we had lunch.that was more important finding a summer school for all year around was the next best step beacuse the teachers we have even our coaches require a high leve of the right kind of attitude everybody is fetting a little bit better in not acceping stuipidy show middle class eforts because we are from the projects and we all had enough goofing off in school.
Honestly to many kids unmatched, people blair their music, people at the park are rude and it's overall a bad environment.
Not too much going on around really Park. Which is a good thing) I think the area gets a bad rap
That's my old hood, some of the best things in my life and people in my life happen there, so here's to J-Park Community Center.
The roads are horrible. The city of Akron Ohio should be ashamed of themselves. Your building up the city but tearing up people's cars with all of these unsafe roads. Pothole after pothole.
Great place to live. Peaceful, and Drama free. Environment clean. Safe place to raise children. Family oriented area. Apartments well kept, and on site security to keep us safe. Been living in Joy Park 15 years, since my daughter was in the wound, and she's now 15. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to start fresh and advance when you've created an structured plan to buy a home five stars
