Jungle Jim's International Market reviews
29Crazy busy, but they literally have about any food you can imagine. Well managed. Kept lines moving, and felt organized.
Almost everything you want and amazing decoration especially the elvis monkey at the candy place
Love this place. It is technically a grocery store. However they sell just about anything you can think of, from any country. If you have ever wondered where would I get that ingrefient? The answer is Jungle Jims. Really we go for the novelty of wandering up and down aisles looking at hundreds of hot sauces, produce from around the world, and international aisles sorted by country.
Great place to get exotic (and regular) produce for great prices, as well as international food products of all kinds.
Greatest grocery store I've ever been too. Honestly it's more of a grocery mall than a grocery store.
Awesome place such a variety since they have everything from almost every country in the world at the store some things giving more expensive than others but it's an amazing place to go and look and I do have decent prices on other things too definitely going back again! Love it
Love to go here. Been making a trip down here for many many years, 20+ to be exact. Ordered trays this past weekend and they were absolutely amazing! They’re all the family has talked about. If you want something and Jungle Jim’s doesn’t have, then you just don’t need it, bottom line.
A very unique grocery store with a lot of life size characters that are amusing for both kids and adults! Lots of variety on products from around the world! Always enjoy coming to Jungle Jim's!
I was at the Fairfield store with my husband and daughter on December 28. This store has two rows of cashier lanes, awkwardly positioned. You have to enter the first row from the front and the second raw from the back. It is very confusing. My husband tried to approach a second raw cash register from the front and the cashier (Tiffany) very rudely asked "Can I help you, I am with a customer. " When we turned around she and her co-worker laughed at us. The behavior of the cashiers was disrespectful, rude, and demeaning at is best, and racist at its worst. Even when we went to the second row cash register from the proper direction, our cashier there didn't even care to say hello to us, even after we greeted her with a friendly hello. This place should remove "international" from its name if it can't train its employees to respect its customers (who mostly have international origins).
What hasn't been said about here already? My big tip for those of you over 21 is to come in Fridays around 5PM for pint night, the draft beers come in glasses you get to keep. It's a fun little collection starter and who doesn't need more glassware?
Always a fun place to visit! I try something new from the international section every time we go. My dad loves the seafood, Mom loves the produce, and we all love the bakery!
Hands down Best place to get produce or specialty foods/beverages. The deli & sushi bar are fantastic. If you are a visitor or new in the Fairfield area this is a must see. It's like an amusement park and grocery store combined. Prices on food are fair, the cookware stuff in the back is kind of high end. Lots of local products sold by a local businessman who supports his community. My favorite stops are the outside decorations (make sure to toss a coin in the safari for good luck), animatronics & international goods (Britain and the country nooks along the wall are adorable!). One drawback is that this place is always crowded - prepare yourself mentally to drive through the parking lot and push through crowds inside.
I love going to Jungle Jim's, even if I don't go more than once a year or so. A great selection of treats that I grew up eating. Fun to just walk around and see things new to try.
Some of the rudest people that I have ever talked to. I asked one question about if they had a whiskey and she cut me off, then ram her mouth for about 3 minutes. Super rude and snooty over a question.
Haven't been here in years until today. This place is amazing and SO huge. I could spend all day in here and easily fill my cart with goodies.
It's incredible. So many foods you would never find outside of specialty markets are here. It's a great place to go to find foods you've never had and try them
Been shopping here 20+ years, but had an unfortunate experience couple weeks at check-out but no response to my emails: who can I call or write
I can't say enough about the Jungle! I grew up in the area and used to go all the time but now I live in Texas, so any chance I get to visit, I always make sure to stop at Jungle Jims. My kids now love going as much as me!
Anything you can think of to eat they have. A little expensive that's the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars.
I love this store. It is one of my absolute favorite places to get special food items. Fresh fish (still swimming), exotic produce and meats, and items imported from all.over the world. They also have an unbelievable selection of hot sauces. If you have never been here you need to stop in.
