Kabuki Restaurant & Sushi Bar, Centerville OH

If this isn't Dayton's best sushi, I'd love to know what IS.
Kabuki is an excellent restaurant, the caliber of place that we have only a few of in Dayton.
Everything I have had in my visits has been unquestionably exceptional, excellent, and enjoyable.

The restaurant is great! The food is delicious and authentic. The only problem I had was the size. I went on a busy night night and it was a bit crowded. Otherwise, it was a really great experience.

Dirty inside, dust all over light that hangs over table. No service, initially got our order wrong so fixed one item but when we discover another item was incorrect it was a problem. The waitress rushed off after bringing out our food instead of aski did everything look okay or did we need anything. Refused to fix wrong order and then said they had to ask manager to remove from the receipt. I had to explain that I did not eat that item at all and if they wouldn’t fix it I still won’t eat it so why should I have to pay for an item that I’m not even going to eat. After talking to manager the waitress came back to remove my plate while I was still eating my other items. I had to pickup the rest of my food and use someone else’s plate quickly because they were in such a rush to take the order away that they refuse to replace. Very rude. Please train your servers better to help customers and instead of rushing be patient and maybe that way you can provide better service and not be so offensive.

My favorite place for sushi. All the food is amazing, the location is small and intimate. I do recommend it!

My go to sushi place in the southern dayton area.i feel it is cheaper than a lot of other places and you get a lot more food at the same quality as their competitors.we only order sushi rolls, sashimi from this place so keep that in mind

Gabriel was my server. I like kimchi, so he recommended the Kimchi Je Gea. I have never tasted something so complex before in my life. Every bite was an experience in itself. The broth was the best I've ever tasted. Come to find out, the owner makes everything from scratch. She grows the cabbage to make the kimchi. And she makes the soy sauce. Try this place.

Such a unique building and really friendly staff, we had the spicy veg soup and sunomomo both amazing as well as the gyoza being perfectly seasoned and very big. The main course was kalbi ribs being raised on the big island of Hawaii im a huge fan of kalbi ribs and the only thing I would have loved is for the cook to be a little more done on open flame to caramelize the marinade a bit. Definitely will be back for sushi.

Tiny little dive but the sushi makes it worth it. It's affordable and probably some of the best sushi I've had in the Dayton area. But honestly that's a low bar to clear.

This place has some of the best sushi in the Dayton area! The flavor of the food is top-notch with amazing combinations. The miso soup was a perfect combination of flavor and salt.

The food was mediocre. Really rough interior.
I had a hot meal. It was weird. It had pasta in the veggies.
Cooked salmon was so think it looked like jerky.
The piece of sushi that came with it was good.
Maybe stick with sushi

The sushi never disappoints. This is my go-to place in the area when I am craving sushi. I highly recommend. The Mafia Roll is one of my favorites. But, there are too many good ones to list.

Amazing food, friendly staff, quaint atmosphere! The only bummer was they forgot to bring our soup, but we were pretty stuffed from everything else so it wasn't a big deal. It was busy and the wait staff were still very attentive to us and always getting refills!
