I was disappointed by Dr. Goyals approach to my intake visit. He took a pessimistic perspective of the process of my diagnosis. He said he is doubtful he would be able to find a solution and was hesitant to refer me to have tests done in order to find a solution. He did not take my pain seriously and did not show compassion to my needs as a new patient.

Dr Goyal is very competent, an excellent communicator, and very friendly. I posed an unusual challenge to his surgical team. They accepted it quickly and the results were excellent. I highly recommend Dr Goyal
and his team.

I found Dr. Goyal and the staff to be very friendly, explain things in a manner that I understood. I like how he explained what was wrong, treatment options, then let me make the decision. Answered all my questions in a clear, precise manner.

Dr. Goyal was very friendly and didn't rush through the visit. He took the time to explain my condition and my treatment options. He gave me practical suggestions that I could implement at home immediately. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Goyal took the time to thoroughly examine my arm and all of my past history. He showed me in detail what he saw on my x-ray and MRI. No one has taken the time to do that and he made me feel very confident in my decision of treatment.

Dr. Kanu Goyal saved my life several years ago I'm am sooooo thankful for him being on this earth and in existence I feel like I'm forever indebted because he took his job seriously and was there in time to save me from dying

My consultation with Dr. Goyal was to discuss "treatment options" following a recent MRI of my injury. He was compassionate, thorough, and explained my situation in a way that I easily understood. He addressed all my concerns and questions in like fashion. If I have any further issues with my current injury, or incurred a different one, I would definitely seek him out. If you have been recommended to consult with Dr. Goyal, and are googling him, know that you will be in good hands. His team and the staff are also top shelf! Say "Hi! " to Stephanie for me, the PA I initially consulted with. She's great, and her manner is highly aligned with that of Dr. Goyal.

Dr. Goyal, and his resident, were very professional and very well informed about my condition. Both doctors listened well, and helped me to understand my condition in more depth. I would not hesitate to return.

He’s a great doctor. Had to go have trigger finger looked at on my right hand with my pinky. They recommended a steroid shot. I don’t like needles at all, especially when it comes to more smaller/sensitive areas of your body but they walked me through the entire process, showing me where the shot would go for my pinky and what everything would feel like, and they weren’t lying. Everything went well, and I’ll be back for future needs. Definitely recommend this office.

I was provided with several alternative treatments for my ailment and felt very well informed.

He took time to explain what my problem was, and all possible solutions, received first treatment hopefully my issue will be solved, if not will surely visit again I have trust in him

Dr. Goyal is a miracle worker. Giving me back range of motion in fingers that have been contracted for 18 years by doing joint replacement and central slip reattachment.

Dr. Goyal and his fellow were extremely thorough in their evaluation of my elbow. They took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions.

Dr. Goyal did a fantastic job with my procedure. He was very professional and thorough in his explanation as to what my symptoms were related to before, during and after my procedure. My experience at the OSU Hand Center was very positive. Each of the providers were helpful and professional, from the front desk and check in to the PA and doctors. As a single older woman I appreciated the care and professionalism, and was at ease in the office. My goal for this first visit was to find out what was going on with my thumbs - I suspected osteoarthritis and it was confirmed. Surprisingly, I learned the arthritis is actually worse in my left thumb than my right, where I have been experiencing the most pain, likely because I am right handed. I also wanted to learn my treatment options. Both the resident doctor and Dr. Goyal were patient and answered all of my questions, taking time to explain their answers. In the end, we opted to start with the most conservative treatment for now (OTC pain relievers, thumb brace for right thumb), and over time will evaluate if I will progress to injections and/or surgery. I have a lot of anxiety over injections, and appreciated Dr. Goyal's calm demeanor and willingness to listen (as well as the resident doctor). If I choose surgery in the future, I will be confident continuing my care with Dr. Goyal. He used a baseball analogy to illustrate the possible outcomes of surgery, which I found helpful and understandable. I now know what I am up against and have options to consider for the future.

My first meeting with Dr. Goyal was great! He was professional, kind, patient, attentive, and displayed genuine care & concern for my condition. From the beginning of the appointment to the end of the same, he made me feel very comfortable, and I left with a sense of ease.

Dr. Goyal is an extremely kind and proficient hand surgeon. Another surgeon that I knew recommended Dr Goyal to me and said that if he had to have surgery on his hands, it would be Dr. Goyal. He tells you what your options are and exactly what the results will be. Very honest and upfront.
