Kare-A-Lot Child Care reviews
15Our kiddo has been in this center for 10 months. The entire experience has been incredible. From the classroom teachers to the Directors/Owners, everyone is kind, caring and genuine. We know our kiddo is in a safe environment surrounded by individuals who love kids. I highly recommend this facility, you will not be disappointed.
We are so happy with our experience with Kare A Lot so far. As first time parents, we were nervous about leaving our baby in the care of others, but after the first day, we were completely put at ease by the wonderful staff! The director responds promptly to emails, the procedures are straightforward, and we love his teachers and the care they are providing our son. The app is updated frequently throughout the day and eases all of our anxiety about how he is doing. We have really been impressed with that aspect as we know the teachers are busy throughout the day and taking the time to update us is so valuable. We are so thankful we chose Kare A Lot!
Kare a lot is not typical daycare, they are family. The
owners, teachers, admins, support staff and directors work tirelessly and provide a tremendous amount of care for each student.
If you're looking for a safe, fun and educational environment where your child will thrive, I'd definitely recommend Kare a lot.
We are so happy with the experience we have had bringing our 18 month old to this center! Like many first time parents, the thought of trusting our child to strangers was daunting. We enrolled in this program while on the waitlist for another, but it didn’t take long for us to deicide to just stick with Kare-a-Lot instead:)
Everyone at the facility is lovely; Gladys, “Gaga” loves and cares for our baby as her own. We never expected our very attached tot to get so comfortable so quickly. She screamed everyday for a week, but now she quickly waves bye-bye to us at the door because she’s excited to start her day. It makes the work-life struggle and parental guilt far more bearable.
The photos and updates on the app throughout the day make it even better.
No, this facility doesn’t have all the bells and whistles with modern well-lit “minimalist” rooms (to be honest, this is what drew us to the other facility initially). But if what you’re really looking for is trust, genuine care, and safety, we would highly recommend you put this facility on your list.
My son has been at Kare-A-Lot since he was 3 months old. All of the staff have been wonderful with him. I feel confident he is well cared for during the day and receiving love and attention while I am at work. The staff is wonderful and very experienced.
I have been sending my children to Kare-a-lot for three years now and have been very pleased with their care. The teachers are amazing, so sweet and love these children. Many have been working their for years so turnover is lower compared to other daycares I have seen.
Leadership is responsive and professional. Anytime I have questions, concerns I can easily call or email and they are very fast to get back to me.
I have also been very impressed with the precautions they have been taking due to COVID. The precautions have been smart, follow all the guidelines but also have somehow not been overwhelming and make total sense.
We have had our daughter here for about a year and a half. The teachers are excellent. Our daughter literally insists on giving them a hug before she leaves everyday. They have indoor and outdoor play equipment and have a great structured curriculum. I would highly recommend. They have reasonable hours and provide meal services.
Our boys (age 5 and 19 mo) have attended since 3 months old. The teachers here treat the children like gold. The young infant room teachers have been there for 10+ years and know more about raising children than I ever will. We have seen consistent development milestones reached, both physically and mentally. They helped encourage potty training. We get artwork and crafts daily. They serve breakfast, snacks, and healthy lunch and provide milk. Plenty of space for indoor and outdoor play. They make it a point to stay open as much as possible and realize that working families are depending on them. It will be bittersweet when our boys leave this place.
I was a stay a home mom before putting my three year old in their care in August. Needless to say I was extremely apprehensive. When I came to check the place out I was extremely impressed with Melinda's level of professionalism and how she explained everything. Lets just say she knows what she is doing! They were extremely understanding that my daughter has never been without me and she did great! They were attentive to her needs and within the first few weeks she had no troubles at all! They answered all my questions and are extremely professional. I look forward to putting her younger sister there when the time comes!
Had both of my kids at Kare a Lot from when they 8 weeks old. They did great job taking care of both of them and i would, without a doubt, send them to Kare a lot all over again!
After having our daughter here for a few months as an infant we decided to keep her here after moving to the other side of the city. She's still there nearly 5 years later and I've always loved the care and attention she gets there.
I think the one star review parents definitely had the wrong daycare center unfortunately. We had previously experienced a bad daycare situation and were very hesitant to trust someone else with our children. However, I’m so thankful we found kare a lot. All of the teachers there are amazing, they are always carefully watching the children (we have a 1.5 year old and 4 year old), have healthy menus, and we have seen such a huge turnaround in our oldest after he was suffering at the previous location. The infant teachers have been great in both the nursery and then the 1-2 year old room and our son is learning so much in such a caring environment in pre-k. All of the staff are friendly and the communication from the directors is amazing. It’s so hard to imagine taking my kids anywhere else now that I’ve been here.
*note, we have been here for about 4 months now
Great Place, My Daughter loves it here she is 2yrs and knows most of her Colors, Shapes, Numbers and Letters. She brings home Arts and Crafts every week, she has become more independent i love it. I get updates throughout the day through this app called Bright wheel, everything gets documented on there and i get notified right away which is great, the staff there are very polite and caring. I also like how they are Nuts Free child care. They also have a healthy lunch Menu A+
Our two children have been at Kare-A-Lot for over a year now. Every day, they are greeted with a smile, and every day they come home happy, well fed, rested, and eager to share their arts & crafts projects. Their teachers are caring, attentive, and available to talk anytime we have questions. Overall, our experience at Kare-A-Lot has been great - even in the midst of a global pandemic.
My son has been attending KareALot since he was 6 months old. The quality of care he receives in the infant rooms are something every parent hopes for. Cheri and Sheri are professional, responsive, and most importantly, I know they really care for my son. I am going to be so sad when we leave because the staff have been nothing short of amazing!
