Kathy's Restaurant, Greenville OH

An older place still serves it up for seniors and working people in town.
The owner is there, I don’t know them, and the waitress is the hardest working person there! She knows everyone and is very attentive and kind to the customers.
Has a salad bar, very good, and breakfast as well.
The strangest thing to me is the TV IS ALWAYS ON SOME GAME SHOW OR SOAP OPERA, I don’t know why, and it is a bit loud. I try to sit as far back as possible.

Can not eat and watch cats.the food was great. The service was great.prices are high, but what isn't.just don't like all the cats around the restaurant not very sanitary.

Good dive for breakfast. Nice size portions. Friends had the buffet and they kept putting fresh stuff out.

We always have great, freshly cooked food. Always good, drinks refilled fairly quickly. Coffee has good diner like flavor. Kind and pleasant staff. Reasonable prices.

The bath room was unbelievable. FILTHY June 30,2023 at noon! Almost lost my good breakfast! I wish I had got a photo!

Lil Mom n Pop style place with a country flair. Several locals here, when we came in. One very nice waitress. Came in 12: 15ish and kind of a wait for 1 waffle, 1 order French toast and bowl of chili. See pic as did order another slice French toast and a waffle. Kinda pricey, 33.00 plus tip. I guess big thing was owner's attitude about the plate I needed to divide the waffle. Likely won't return.

Food was OK. Husband ordered dried beef gravy and biscuit. Waited 10 minutes after I got my food, for it to be not too hot. We thought he had to wait for it to be cooked fresh, so didn't understand why it wasn't hot for the as long as he waited. Disappointing.

First time going to Kathy's in many years the food and service was very good. I had the breakfast bowl it was good and a very nice portion.

Kathy’s has hands down thee best service around restaurant wise in Darke county. From the wait staff, crew and even Kathy herself. I’ve been here many times, and I’ve never had a bad experience. Never felt rushed in any way here to “leave” after eating. The Staff is absolutely top notch, polite, caring, friendly, and go out of their way to make sure your visit is a great one. The place is always an inviting, and pleasant experience. The food is great, being here many times I’ve tried most of the menu and have no complaints. Not a single one, on any visit.
Kathy’s Restaurant is truly a hidden gem here in Darke county, amongst all the hustle and bustle of all the big name places that always make you feel rushed and that you, as a customer aren’t that important. So hats off to everyone that works at Kathy’s, who hold you, the customer with high regard and uphold their standards to excel, so your visit is a lasting impression on how you should be treated, and feel welcomed while spending your time to come in there.
As for myself, and my family, we will be going here often, knowing that we will have a great experience, time and time again.

The food is always wonderful. The service is spectacular, and Kathy is always so gracious. It's always a good dining experience. We love it!

Always delicious ran into one of my old friends and we went in there I haven't been in there for 5 years

Biscuits in the biscuits and gravy were sweet? Gravy itself was good. Bacon had no flavor but a sweet after taste? Coffee was horrible. 1st and last time there.

Owner was yelling at the employees. It was obvious that the employees didn't want to be there. Food was okay but not anything great. Chances of a return visit: not likely. First impressions stick with you.

Great food and service - home cooked, quality ingredients and very tasty. Great value also.we will be back.

While visiting family during the Thanksgiving holiday we stopped in Kathy's restaurant for breakfast because we saw how busy they were everyday. Kathy's had good service and good food. Would stop in for breakfast again when visiting the area.

Worse place to eat in town, got sick and thru up after leaving, will not be back ever again

All of my food was cold and got an uncooked sunny side egg with floaters in my drink staff was super nice but food was terrible

Football game was on and TV was too loud. Sometimes we couldn't even talk. But service was really great and the food is incredible. Best chicken sandwich anywhere.
