Very interesting guided tour. I wish there was more about the role of the abolition and the underground railroad.

Beautiful historical home. Please go and enjoy the history of black Americans. They also host wonderful tea parties.

This place has become a sort of sanctuary for me. I call it my very on secret garden. It’s a hidden gem in the heart of olde towne east! I have to pinch myself sometimes because I feel so lucky to have access to this bit of nature in the middle of a city. I spend most of my mornings here, as I like to practice grounding fo start my days. The owners take such a good care of this place and it definitely shows. Thank you so much for creating this beautiful space. It’s truly the highlight of where I live.

Mother's day tea 2022, overpriced for pitiful variety and portions, not ADA compliant, parking nightmare. Presentation nothing to do with history of house, family or the purpose of the junior league. All doors on ground floor were locked from inside. Had to have someone let us out. Think about that.

We called on a Wednesday because we had some time before we went to the airport. The docent said she was there & to come by & knock. We had a lovely tour of the mansion. The docent was very knowledgeable.

I had my wedding there yesterday & it was perfect! James is literally one of the sweetest, most understanding people/event coordinator’s I’ve ever worked with! Such a beautiful place for our ceremony. I would 10/10 recommend this place for anyones wedding!

We visited this museum on Saturday, April 15,2023 at 2: 00 pm, and Stacy and Remi were our wonderful tour guides. We highly recommend a tour of this house and garden due to its rich history, as it was a stop on the Underground Railroad. Stacy taught us a lot of interesting things about the Kelton family and about the history of the 19th and 20th century experiences their family members shared. We learned a lot, and are grateful for the time that Stacy and Remi shared with us. It was an enlightening tour of a beautiful home lovingly restored and well maintained full of fascinating pieces from a successful family in Columbus. Thanks again to our great guides for making this visit fun!

I’m an interior designer turned flight attendant. When I get the opportunity to go into older homes/buildings around the country I do!

Sarah at the Kelton House showed me around the property and I was fascinated by all the information about the houses interior and the families history! I believe that 90% of the furniture is original from the Kelton family. It was great to see the hand painted china sets and old books. What fascinated me the most were the stories about the family and their evolvement with the Underground Railroad. Thanks again Sarah!
