Free parking, free Access, free picnic area, open land for kids to run and play. All in this area that is part of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Take the 1 mile paved and dirt (easy) walk and enjoy different views of the lake and the foundations of the old power plant, and (193 era) CCC installations to mark the parking area and build the (what is now) bathroom and sheltered picnic area. Spend some quality time in the outdoors close to major population areas of Cleveland and Akron. The BEST our federal dollars can offer.

This place has awesome trails especially for wildlife.however, be aware: the cross country path is taken over by poison ivy, make sure to stay on the path and away from the edges.

Great park! Nice walk around the lake, with plenty of parking. Great spot for a family picnic. Also a solid spot to take your dog for a walk. On site bathrooms, grills, park benches, and waste baskets!

Kendall Lake Trail is such an easy and fun trail for all ages. Plenty of shade and beautiful views. Stay on the trail and take the mile loop. The stairs are a bit steep so wear good shoes with traction.

Fantastic spot any time of year if you're in the valley. Scenic trails & the lake is very peaceful & beautiful.

Could be a nice fishing lake, although the algae and under growth is so overgrown you can't even cast your line without it getting tangled. Beware of tons of Canada geese droppings everywhere. Makes it impossible to even walk on the grass
