Kenny Road License Agency reviews
19 As smoothly run as a BMV in a pandemic can be.
Online wait-list and quick employees kept large number of customers moving through the process at a consistent rate.
Wait time was about an hour, took 15 minutes to get what I needed done.
When they called my number someone walk up to the window I was supposed to be the the lady said she would put my number back in the system then she said a few minutes later they was going to take care of me the lady at the other window asked what my number was and I went to explain to her what the other lady said at window one so I had to wait again because they screwed up she should of not let the guy just walk rite up to the window he should of waited they need to get there act together that was a terrible experience
Went around 9 on a Friday morning to get my license. Was helped immediately, didn't need to check-in online or anything, no wait at all! Quickest BMV experience ever! I was helped by Bertha and she and all the other employees were very nice.
Waited in line 2 hours for them to tell me I needed a title for a trailer, which it turns out I didn’t because I had the bill of sale. Do your job. Not first person they tried to drum up reasons for turning away since line was long.
Always long lines, it’s impossible to get anything done before work, I’ve heard it’s just as bad at other times of the day
I want to thank the staff at the Kenny Road office for their patience, friendliness, and customer service. My wife and I moved from out of state and wanted to get our new drivers licenses yesterday in order to register to vote. We waited for two hours and ended up leaving well after the official closing time. But the staff was great the whole time. One staff member spoke with each individual in line to make sure they had all the necessary paperwork in order to get the type of license they wanted. Waiting in line for two hours is not fun and my wife and I appreciated the professionalism of the Kenny Road staff.
Employee threatened to lock the door and burn the building down with everyone in it because the system crashed. Not one person was making a fuss except this one employee.
The word is out, and this previously chill location is now one of the busiest in the city. The staff is still rather friendly, although it seems they move like snails. Make sure you know what documents you need before you waste your time waiting, or you will be sent packing. Good luck.
I'm thinking my experience was an anomaly to what others normally experience here, because I was in and out in 20 minutes due to being put in the line for car registrations, which was SIGNIFICANTLY shorter than the "all else" line. That line was at least 25 people long, and the majority of those people were still waiting around by the time I left 20 minutes later. That being said, it only took about 15-20 minutes for me to be taken care of (with only about 5-6 people ahead of me), and the staff here are great! Jonathan was incredibly friendly and answered all my questions quickly. However, seeing the line for everyone NOT needing registration, I dread having to come back here for something like a license renewal.
If you need new tags, renew them ONLINE! Fast and efficient!
I stopped by the other day because I also need a new license. Line was out the door and there was maybe one (maybe two) employee at the desk. So I walked out. Seriously? I rather drive to a more convenient BMV instead of standing in a crowded line of like 30 people with the line barely moving because they only employ one person up front. It's not a big enough place. You are packed in like a sardine. And the wait I'm sure would have been longer than an hour.
Went in here around 10: 30AM on a Friday to get plates for a new car. There were so many people waiting that there was barely anywhere to stand. Couldn't tell where the end of the line was so I walked out, went to another agency, same issue. Why are these places so slow and/or so understaffed?
Connie was one of the rudest people I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with, and she was completely unhelpful. When I got to the front of the line, I saw that she was even being rude to the other people working there. She's a horrible person and she wasted my time.
I have used this location for more than twenty years but doubt if I will ever use it again the lady that was taking pictures was aggressive and filled with hateful political banter all I can say is be kind to all not only those that share your views
I have been here for over one hour and they have processed about 11 people (of over 20), which means I probably have about 16 more years in line. What will the process be in 16 years? Will I need a vile of my DNA? Photos of myself from all years of life? Who will bring me food and water? But really, a woman in line just told me this is the 3rd time she has come here and waited longer than an hour. A man just announced it took him 45 minutes to process one drivers license. Please note I would like on my headstone “died doing what she loved: waiting in line at the BMV”.
I was in and out the door within six minutes and there were 7 people in front of me.they have been this fast the past 3 times ive been here. Super friendly with just enough small talk to make it not a terrible experience. This location makes going to the BMV almost enjoyable. Well done guys!
Rude and condescending. New policies and new system makes for long lines to wait in. A lot of confusion between regular drivers license and the new certified drivers license. They mail out new drivers licenses instead of giving it to you on the spot. I applied and paid for the my new drivers license two weeks ago and still haven't gotten it in the mail. I'm concerned that this new way is a threat to people's security by sending a form of ID to people through the USPS. Identity theft is prominent and this doesn't seem like an efficient way serve your central ohio drivers. Customer service clerks are rude, short and nasty in person and on the phone. They must be overworked and underpaid.
The people here are extremely rude. They don't know how to respect the costumers. I came here and they would cut you off when you try to talk. The workers don't have any respect for the customers nor do they help at all.
They charge 20$ to do anything title related. And it takes 3-5 days. Go to Morse rd and deal with that.
One of the best BMVs in my opinion. We actually live an hour and half away but would rather drive to this location for the great customer service and the wealth of knowledge the staff has. We waited in line approximately 45 minutes with at least 20 people ahead of us in line. Mike was our customer service representative and he was polite, helpful and did not rush us even with a long line of customers waiting behind us.
I would certainly recommend this BMV to everyone and now know from experience why this location is rated 5 stars.
