Ken's Appliance Parts reviews
10Called and was promptly given a fair price for my needed repair parts for my dryer. Stopped in an hour later and picked them up. My dryer is back up and running, thanks for being great!
My dryer was not working correctly so I opened it up and found it needed a pulley and new belt. Found the parts on Amazon for $20 (belt and pulley) I decided instead to help out local businesses and went to Kens and they had the parts, only it was $20 for the belt and $58 for the pulley! I bought them anyway because, I was already there, and like I said it’s nice to help out locally owned businesses. So I got home opened the bags for the parts and got ready to install them. Once I got it all taken apart I discovered that it was just the belt that needed to be replaced, so I went back to Kens to return the pulley (which in their defense, the invoice said open packages are non returnable, but the plastic bag that it was in just had a little hole in it, enough to get the part out) and they said the could not take it back even though there was nothing wrong with it and I had the receipt. So much for helping out locally owned businesses-never again!
Fridge went out on a Sunday evening, called Monday morning to see if I could get some one to come look at it. Was told they didnt do emergency calls and next appointment was in 2 weeks
Went in to ask some questions about a dishwasher problem, and the gentleman did not seem to interested in the questions I was asking. I was told that I seemed to be on the right track with my problem and that was it. Either he was more interested in making his peanut butter and jelly sandwich at the counter, Wich I clearly interrupted, or he was wanting me to schedule for a service call. I think it was the later. Very unprofessional. I Will go buy another dishwasher before dealing with this place.
Ken’s is my go-to for appliance repair. He’s courteous, punctual, thorough, knowledgeable and honest. He’s fixed my washer & dryer, and has done all kinds of work for my parents.
Ken’s is the best.
Second place I called for dishwasher repair, the first told me it was a bad pump and said it would be hundreds to fix. The repairman for kens told me it was just a clog and had it fixed in less than 30 minutes! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for good place for appliance repair
Only needed a bearing and was told it couldn't be purchased separately (not true). I try and support local and a small business, but I was better off buying directly from the manufacturer in this instance.
No wonder the American small business has dwindled. If you need parts don't come here, unless you want to pay a markup over 4x anywhere else!
Excellent service. Great prices on parts and great service. I highly recommend them for parts and repairs on appliances.
Ken was in and out.didn't think he had time to get the parts let on have it fixed.great guy to have your repairs done by.
