I currently stay here and been going through Hell since I moved in. I wish I could put it at a 0. Nothing is being done! Faith like to harass tenants. Everything is broken. Then have the nerve to threaten eviction because they don't understand why I was given money from corporate. Well, know this. I will counter sue you for damages that I been through since we signed a contract! My dishwasher hasn't worked for a year now. The rails are on the steps not the walls. I had a flood and now they don't want to clean my carpet. I going to show you better than telling you. Plus, I'm disabled!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The property has gone through FOUR managers in the two years I've lived there. The property is in horrible shape. Maintenance requests take months to fulfill if at all. There are pot holes that are ankle deep and many feet in diameter. My car sustained axle and suspension damage from the pot holes and the manager denied my request for them to pay repairs.

The complex is dirty and there is trash EVERYWHERE. There was some times when the garbage company would not come for weeks (probably from them not paying their bills). It would smell horrible and trash would overflow into the streets. There was also times where the lawn would be not mowed for a month, in the middle of peak growing season.

My father was assigned a unit next to ours and the manager took the deposit, holding fee, and credit check fees. They said the unit would be ready to move into in a couple months. Six months later he was told the unit was never going to be available. For six MORE months they failed to give back the deposit and fees.

If you are worried about crime, this place is horrendous. My car was broken into three times in the 2.5 years I lived here. Every single time they broken my window, which costed me about $250 to replace. Every year I was here, there was at least one fatal shooting INSIDE the complex.

Friedman Communities is an evil company. Avoid any of their properties at all costs. I would take any positive review with a grain of salt, it's probably fake or planted.

I only been here 4 months my rent is never what they say it will be they told me 700 @
The most they over charge you for a 1 bedroom my first month it was 700 second month 800 3rd month 865$ plus my Utilities my 4th month is 961.51$ for a 1bedroom my central air does not even work I have to use air conditioners and the doors in the house 2 my closets are super cheap and they keep breaking do not move here how much they charge in you could be staying in a house living great I’m currently tryna see if there is anyway I can break my lease and move into a house or income based apartments

It’s very unprofessional since I’ve lived here and moved out there’s been so many different managers nobody knows anything! I moved out February 27 they claim I moved out a week after that when I been had proof and one of the managers called me the next day and said they received my key! On the 28th. So now it’s September I’m still dealing with this and I now have a debt collector case because of a balance where I wasn’t living! And have been trying to get fixed since a couple months after I moved out. Not to mention when I called the new manager, she said that they recorded that I had a 3 day notice in January when I’ve never had any notice on my door, because my bills were paid. It’s just very unprofessional and they have no knowledge or any proof or notes of anything. Not to mention the apartment was very raggedy! No air all summer and the maintenance men would try and talk to you in your own house. Trash is always every where outside. 0/10 would not recommend

DO NOT MOVE HERE RUN AWAY. Let me start by saying this is the worst apartments I've ever rented to. They are unorganized and unreliable. The management has changed 4 times in the last 2 years. I've been trying to move out of state. I post my 30 day notice and they claim they don't have the documents.we weren't sure if we would be able to move out by our 30 day notice.we ask them regarding this do we need to submit another after the current one expires.they say NOTHE FIRST TIME I CALL AND ASK TO DOUBLE CHECK AND THEN ITS A YES AND THEY TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO ASK FOR AND EXTENSION ON THE 30 DAYS NOTICE. I SEND THE FORM IN THEN IM TOLD AGAIN THAT THEY NEVER EVEN HAD MY ORIGINAL 30DAYS NOTICE. So now they are saying to send that one.we ask about the information regarding what's in the system. The system says it's the 17th of this month we are supposed to have moved. HOW! I SUBMITTED IT FOR THE 11TH LIKE NONE OF THIS INFORMATION is correct its all over the place. This place isn't worth the hassle they lack communication and don't even get me started on maintenance. PLEASE DO NOT EVER MOVE HERE!

Do not move here, The maintenance men are terrible, Our Heating System Had Been Out For The Whole Week & they kept Telling Us “we Gotta pick the part up tomorrow” and That Was They Same Excuse The Whole Week. Very unprofessional I Do not recommend.

Great help, but I wasn't accepted because of my background check. How long will the process take to receive the refund of $100 for the holding fee? Update: I called and it can take up to a month to return a holding fee. Now that is ridiculous.

Unacceptable. I moved out of my apartment at the end of July & haven’t received a deposit yet. First my check was going to the apartment that I lived at in the complex like how would I get it if I no longer live there? I gave them a address when I returned the key. I call once & that was a month & half ago which is how I found out it was going to the address in the complex. I call constantly with no response.

They’re air doesn’t not work in the summer time at all my air has not worked this whole summer. They don’t like to fix anything they will say they will come fix it but never do! They never answer they’re phone and there’s always something extra on my rent.

Dont move in here, my daughter signed a lease in April the apartment had maintenance issues from the start. They promised to have them fixed within a week. Its September still have not fixed anything. An to add to this her dishwasher grow mold they cleaned it promised to be back the next day to install a new dishwasher thats been a month ago still not fixed. Now she has black mold growing on her walls and they want to act like its ok and told her they would come fix it as soon as they could.

Kensington’s website listed that a one bedroom with washer and dryer hookup would be available on 8/9/21. I went to the office to view the apartment on 8/19/21. The office manager wasn’t available but there was a man there who was subbing till the manager returned. He informed me that the apartment wouldn’t be available till 8/15/21. I stated that was fine. I submitted an application through their website on 7/21/21 and I was instantly approved. Along with the application fee, I also paid an additional $100 holding fee. I called the office numerous times to get more information on the apartment that I had PAID for them to hold for me. The complex is terrible at answering the phone and when they do answer, no one knows anything. When I finally got a hold of a leasing agent, they informed me that they didn’t know whether the previous tenant was still living in the apartment or not. I was supposed to receive a call back once they figured out if the apartment was occupied. Of course I didn’t receive a call back. I ended up calling the leasing office again on 8/6/21. I informed the leasing agent that at this time I was no longer interested in living at Kensington apartments. She informed me that I would be receiving my deposit back. After a week I noticed that I never received my $100 deposit. I called the office only to be informed that the deposit is only refundable after 48 hours from the application being submitted. They don’t answer the phone enough to allow anyone to be able to reach them in a 48 hour time span. It took them almost two weeks to even let me know that someone was living in a unit that they listed as available. Their management is unprofessional and overall a scam.

I did my app online, but when I went onsite and met Cheryl, I knew this was the place! The property is nice, but I believe that the people who manage it reflect its true nature. Cheryl and her staff were professional, accommodating, informative, and all-around welcoming. I look forward to being a resident here!

This Apartment complex is absolutely beautiful. The staff here are so friendly and helpful and will answer any questions you have. Cheryl the apartment manager is so nice is is very professional with her job. My girlfriend and I are future residents and Cheryl and the Maintenance have made us feel so welcome! We can’t wait to live here!

Moved in at reasonable time. Landlord was super nice and helpful. Love the apartments! 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for apartments.
