Kenworth of Cincinnati (Palmer Trucks) reviews
22 Great Service! I had a fan belt and tensioner pulley go out on me and had to get towed in. They started on me before the tow truck driver left. I really appreciated that. Unfortunately, I had to spend the night at a hotel because they didn't have my belt in stock. The belt was in the next day around 2: 30pm and I was back rolling around 4pm that day.
Thanks RYAN
Thanks SPENCER
First time there for service a great 2nd shift team Ryan got me right in diagnosed the problem had me fixed and out in 1 hr great experience will definitely go back had bought some parts a few years back THANKS!
Friendly and efficient staff! The employees checked on me multiple times and ensured I knew what was going on while my truck was being repaired. Definitely recommend this place!
Power steering went out and to drop off Friday morning. Told me they would get to it right away. Monday morning i got the call the the steering was fixed and a few other things. AC charged up. Clutch adjusted. Very fast and awesome work for a very very short notice. Will definitely be taking my truck there from now on.
Thanks Palmer Trucks.
Not from area but needed part for truck. With virus situation they were still able to get part I needed very fast so I was able to get back driving. Thank you Kenworth of Cincinnati!
2nd shift is awesome, even if it took 2 extra days to get my truck up and running. But to fair it was not their fault for another warehouse in Atlanta forgetting to ship out the parts on Friday. The mechanic Seth was very helpful in letting me know the process of what we were looking at. And let's not forget Ryan who was kind and insightful.
Called them, was on hold then was transfered million times and finally hang out on me.hmmm interesting people works there. If you that busy turn off the phones idiots
Hello to all. I want to share my experience with these guys. Very friendly, professional, Especially grateful to the service manager Gene, he is a professional in his field, the right attitude to clients with such people is always a pleasure to deal with
The woman that answered the phone isn't very polite. I can only imagine how much business this place loses. It doesn't matter when you call them they tell you they won't start on your truck for 7-10 days. So we called Dayton and Indianapolis (all Palmers) and they were polite and both said they'd get it in Friday/Monday at the latest. So we had it towed to Dayton and as we were leaving they were starting on the truck. NEVER will we waste time or energy on Cincinnati Kenworth.
Needs a bit of improvement when it comes to customer service. They are really good at ignoring people waiting at parts counter.
Went in bc no heat in front cab. The were all nice and funny. Went in and they knew what was wrong. Explained. Had us up and going in few hours. Really nice people. They have showers in mens room. A driver lounge with a coffee pot vending machine and a big TV. Comfortable chairs. They have washier and dryer. Thank you for helping out.
Had a vehicle in truck stop take out passenger mirror. 12 hrs later Cincinnati Kenworth had me in shop fixing it. Kenworth believes in safety number one.thank you 5 stars. Robert Hubbard
SLOW, EXPENCIVE
UNPROFETIONAL. Got my truck fixed from Friday morning till Tuesday evening, Need clutch rod to be rrplased, but these guys want me to replace whole church for 4000 instead. Fixed it for $200. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PLACE.
Purchase an air compressor and air dryer in August 2017. They charge a core fee even if you bring in the core. (Standard practice) The compressor failed 4/2 this year. Was returned on 4/12. They charged me for the new compressor and a $400 core and said it would be 20 to 30 days on the refund. Furthermore the air dryer is full of oil from part failure and was told there would be no warrantee on that part. 28 days later still waiting for a refund. After multiple calls and 2 additional trips to the dealer with all original paperwork finally they tell me the claim has been filled and it will be 20 to 30 more days to be processed. If your and independent trucker and don't have a fleet don't bother with Palmer.they could care less about you or the success of your family owned business. Buy your parts anywhere but here.
Stopped in from out of town a few days ago with a check engine light. Told the service department I had to get my load delivered in PA ASAP. They hooked me up and even helped me order food for lunch. Thanks Guys!
My review is still pending.but so far I checked on a Fri.they looked at my truck on Tues.wasted entire day Wed trying to email an estimate for approval. Been sitting for 6 days and counting. This area is the Black hole of trucking. Freightliner and International are even worse.my advice is to GET OUT.
Picked up customer Semi transported it back to Indianapolis, the service department is very knowledgeable and helpful. Palmer Kenworth is a great place to go if you need heavy tr[ck services
Came in for DOT inspection and axle bearing inspection. Charged over $600 for checking the truck over to tell me what needs Repair. Apparently this takes 5 hours. Driver came in Monday morning, was asked to return Tuesday morning. We left 5 days later on Saturday. Will never come here again.
Worst service I have ever seen. Took them 3 days to replace a fuel tank after the 3 days it took to get the tank.
If you don't have days to wait for a six hour repair job, best go elsewhere. I gave one star because I couldn't give zero.
Stopped in today and had great service from Randy at the parts counter.knew what I needed without even looking it up! Keep up the great work!
