Kettering Polen Farm, Dayton OH

This is one of the beautiful parks I go to walk my dog, Nina! I usually park on the far right entrance and take her all the way around the entire park. She loves her doggy friends who live on the edge inside the fence where the houses back up to the park. She isn't quite sure how to play with new dogs just yet but the dogs there help to get her used to seeing new friends.:) I love how there is a nice sidewalk all the way around and trees for shade. Lots of trash cans nearby, restroom area and picnic area with tables. There's a cute art sculpture that's a must see right in the center. A really neat water play area for the kids as well as a playground. One of my friends had her reception at Polen Farm and it was amazing! Its a great area, awesome neighborhood and very peaceful even if you don't have kids since it's big enough to sit further from the play area. Great place!

It was very clean. It was the first time upstairs and on a hot day it was airy and nice and cool.

Picture perfect setting for a wedding rehearsal followed by a wedding this Saturday. Can't wait!

Fun time volunteering at Polen Farm on Christmas day 2022. Especially liked meeting Santa.

I am the groom from Abby’s review and just wanted to further reiterate the poor experience we had.

Okay so if you’re going to have a wedding here there’s a few things to consider. You cannot have rice or glitter they told us which is completely fine and understandable. But what they didn’t tell us is you can’t have petals for going down the isle either they made my mom pick them up right after the ceremony.

Before we put in the deposit we asked if we could use one of their two kitchens the assured us that’s fine because we wanted to heat up food there for the wedding just to keep it warm. The DAY OF my wedding they said they changed their minds because they were worried about the clean up. I had to order pizza and throw away Over $1000 worth of food.

Then to top it all off some lady came out THREE HOURS before wrap up time which was scheduled to be an hour before our booked time was over. So we had to end my wedding FOUR hours early.

We stayed and checked every nook and cranny because they seemed very annoyed with us. We didn’t even have any alcohol or a DJ. Only 35 people. They did not give us the deposit back and refused to tell us why.

The venue and the house are gorgeous though

Beautiful place for my nephew wedding. The barn was very nice and very spacious for the 120 guests.
