KeyBank reviews
7I have called the branch seven times since June to get an issue resolved with an account. I have called during business hours and every time I get a recording that they can't answer the phone, to leave my name and number and they will call me back. It is now July 6th and they have never called me back. Apparently you don't want my business.
I met a young lady (Melissa Dailey)
Whom was the most helpful girl, was very knowledgeable, helped me in several ways, great attitude, and made me glad that I chose Key bank for all my business transactions and more. Thank God for great individuals like her.key bank better keep this young lady around.she made me a Key banker for life.thank you Mrs. Dailey.
KeyBank is the absolute worst bank I have ever attempted to do business with. That being said, this is the WORST branch I've been to. Overall, the tellers and bankers are left completely powerless and unable to refund and of the ridiculously HIGH FEES that Key will charge you- especially if you're too poor to afford it, like me. Try running a business while having a KeyBank account? LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE! I sure wouldnt be in business much longer had I remained a KeyBank Client- as they consistently do a HORRIBLE job at completing even the simplest tasks. I would explain more but I've already given this disgustingly fraudulent bank way too much of my time. Do yourself a favor and AVOID KEYBANK AT ALL COSTS! Slow, Rude and OUT OF TOUCH!
Let me begin by saying the staff have been very nice, this is a policy issue that seriously needs addressed. If you have ever had to deal with the fraud department then you probably will understand what I'm about to say. If you're looking for a bank I would continue to keep looking and maybe choose another institution.
I recently sold my car to a very reputable company. I was issued a check that was filled out by the tow company driver who was contracted to pick up my car. I deposited the check at a KeyBank ATM and was able to get $100 out. The next I expected to go to the bank and pull some money out to take care of things. That did not happen. My online banking was restricted and when I called to check my balance off my ATM card, I wasn't able to and was sent to a customer service representative. I was told the fraud department put a 5 business day hold on the check and the only access I have to the account is to go to a branch. The customer service representative stated I had 2 options. I could wait the time or go to the branch the account was originated and the manager could lift the hold. I took proof of the sale and matching numbers on the check and in the email I provided along with the address and phone number for the maker of the check. I was told that he never lifts the holds, so basically it was a waste of my time. On a follow up phone call I was told that no phone calls are made to verify the check and that basically nothing is done and we just wait the time. How is this fraud protection when nothing is done other than to cause the customer a huge inconvenience and punish me for selling my car and depositing the check through the ATM. I don't feel like anyone has done anything to protect my account. Very very disappointed and don't feel I should be treated that way.
I was in on Friday and talked to Jamie. She was very helpful and as nice as she could be. In fact if I could pick a friend it would be her. And boy does she ever know her stuff. Thanks Jamie u are awesome!
Customer service was awesome! Would recommend coming to this branch for the best friendly and helpful customer service!
