2Troop 275. My Scout Troop goes to this cabin once a year in January. I really like all the work that is being done to improve the cabin. I notice that more insulation is being added and a new roof in the back. The kitchen is very warm. I love the fire places at each end of the cabin. This year when we arrived. There was no firewood. In past years, the group that used the cabin before you would leave some wood. Your would leave wood for the next group. This was a little disappointing. We had to buy wood to supply the cabin fire places. The second wood stove at one end really helps. I like all the Troop flags hanging from the ceiling. It is amazing to see all the Scout Troops that are using the cabin. My Troop enjoys all the wild life tracks that can be found around the cabin. We enjoyed all the plaster casts that we found in the new addition. I hop you do not stop doing this.
