Kindred Market & Café reviews
16We love Kindred! So grateful for this incredible, little market with organic food, fresh produce, & friendly people.
This has everything you need if you are into locally sourced items, naturally made items, and pretty much anything organic. The vibe is so cool inside and will give you a really good idea of the hippie vibe Athens has.
Hands down my personal favorite health food store I've been to. Family owned and operated, very fair prices and even cheaper than most places that sell the same items. (Also a great variety of different items that you can't find anywhere else in town). Can't say how grateful I am to have this gem in the Athens area. Highly recommend to anyone who cares about health, supporting local entrepreneurs, and also enjoys a friendly atmosphere to shop. Thank you for your existence Kindred Market and your service to your community.
Great selection, and reasonable prices. Hard to find products, local meats, dairy and produce. Gifts and more.
Probably my favorite health food store I've ever been to! Only wish they had a fresh meat section.however the lack thereof probably contributes to this store not having a funky smell like lots of other health food stores do.
Nice place. Has a lot of good products & the coffee bar has outstanding coffee. Good vibe in a small but efficient space.
Very clean. Nice store. Lots of organic options. They have everything you need. The employees are always nice.
I drive over an hour to shop here, finding things I cannot get in my community. My trips have become an anticipated fun trip with my daughters, 8 & 10-years-old. Recently we attended the September Makers at the Market, having a wonderful afternoon and taking home some treasures.
Amazing selection of organic and natural foods, plus a very helpful staff that knows a lot about healthy food and supplements!
This place was amazing. We happen to go down here while there was a festival going on. Had some live music on the street. It was just a great place to be really good atmosphere but highly recommend it.
There are so many sugar, dairy, and gluten-free options. Anyone with dietary restrictions should definitely go in and look around.
Nice little grocery store in the former Blockbuster building. Bulk foods and single independent brewery cans are a plus. Athens version of Whole Foods that takes the EBT card.
Very nice selection of food, and pretty good coffee, but it was somewhat expensive, but other than that it was pretty good.
Hard to imagine Athens without this gem. It just feels good to be in this store! Love the local produce and other local products, gifts, cards, beer selection. Carefully curated store, impressive inventory for its size. And always great music playing.:)
It’d be nice if they didn’t buy all the items of certain products at other stores for those who can’t afford Kindred. Super expensive store!
Perfectly executed dirty chai and a gorgeous, inspiring place to sit and work on my next children’s book.
Frontier teas, in addition to a collection of uniquely curated teas. Very high quality bulk foods at fair prices. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming.
