Kiwanis Recreation Park reviews
13Great place to walk by the river or just sit and meditate painesville's diamond in the rough.
Came to play disc golf at the course here, and we picked a rather windy day for it! The course itself is cool, goes through the woods some, by the river, very scenic, but still with an open park feel. There was a football game going on, and lots of people when we went, so just beware when throwing. Make sure you look out for those walking on the course! It's November, so everything was still really pretty, but there were a lot of leaves on the ground. And some parts of the course were still super wet and soggy. We didn't have enough daylight to play past hole 8, but we will definitely come back to play the full thing! Summertime is probably the best time for the disc golf course, but it was still a beautiful day for the park!
Beautiful views of Grand River- exercise stations- paved walking- 2 playgrounds- lots of picnic areas- pond for fishing and picnic area. Something for everyone!
One of my favorite places to just escape and shoot hoops at. There's frisbee golf and much more. Hidden gem of the Painesville area.
Bring something to sit on when it's cold. This FL native froze sitting on the metal bleachers.
Nice place for all ages.pavilions for picnics, playgrounds for the kiddos, fishing for all.and more.
Park itself is nice but the city or township really needs to fix the roads. Roads are down right terrible.
Very beautiful scenery. Excellent place for the whole family with baseball fields, a track to walk, and two playgrounds for the little ones! A pond to fish in or choose the river! Friday night high school football games home of the Harvey Red Raiders. All kinds of activities for everyone!
Nice stadium. Watched a football scrimmage game. The concession stand was open but did not have change at halftime.
Love all the improvements but the basketball court should have benches on the other side also and there no more water fountains that crazy
Beautiful park. Several nice, clean pavilions with grills and playgrounds for younger kids. There is a skate park and disc golf and a pond for fishing. Rec Park sits next to the Grand River so you can enjoy the wildlife as well and a walking/running path that encompasses the park. Always a baseball game or basketball players.
Im on a middle school track team and i went to an invatational and the boys and girls came 2nd out of 10 other school. But on the other hand I love the park.
It's the park I've been going since a kid they have upgraded it so it's even better now
