This is an unexpectedly delightful restaurant. I loved my dining experience there. I will definitely return.

By far the BEST Korean restaurant I’ve ever been to. Beautiful decor, clean, excellent service, great ambiance, cute utensils and bowls, and of course delicious food. The sashimi was fresh. The mandu, the sushi roll we got and edamame were great as well. My friends and I all got different bibimbap, and they were 10/10, perfect portions, and fresh vegetables. I also ordered the flavorful beef chap chae, and the beef was so tender. It’s a must try if you’re ever driving by or live in the Toledo area.

If you haven’t been to Koreana on Airport Hwy, your missing some of Toledo’s greatest Asian cuisine! My dinner was the Yukiudon and my wife had the Chap Chae (right). I’ve also had the sushi and it is outstanding! And if you want outstanding service, ask to sit in Jenna’s section!

We had to wait an hour just for appetizers and around another 30 minutes for the mains. Aside from that, the food was solid, although the rice in my sushi seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. Not sure if we were unlucky, but if we ever go back it'll be for takeout.

My husband and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary here- it was our first time visiting and we will absolutely be back. We started with a Bulgogi Kimbop roll, and it was delicious! I may have to go back and make a meal out of Kimbop Rolls! My husband had the Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap bowl, and I had Chapchae with chicken. Entrees come with Banchan; our server was able to walk us through what the sides were, and let us know that they occasionally change! The edamame ans broccoli were really good, and the kimchi was a great accent for our meals! Every item was delicious. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and sweet. The owners are also very sweet, and their passion for the food and their restaurant shines through. The atmosphere is calm, and we loved having a relaxing dinner. We were also gifted some mochi for dessert, as they knew it was our anniversary. Koreana is a gem- be sure to try it out! (My apologies for forgetting to take pics before we dug in!)

Mr. & Mrs. Davis run an excellent establishment in the greater Toledo are. I believe it is one of the few places that focus on Korean food along with Sushi. The server was warm and engaging, attentive without being overbearing. The food is far above one would expect. The owners are hands on in all aspects of the business. Mr. Davis personally made my wife’s dish. Cleanliness is next to godliness in establishments such as these, and there are no short comings whatsoever. I highly recommend personally for everyone to visit this establishment, whether one has experience in this area of cuisine or not.

Food was so good! And service was excellent. Sweet potato noodles are fantastic. And try the bowls!

My family has been coming here for probably close to 20 years. My grandmother even liked their food. She was a Korean woman and an amazing cook. No korean food would be as good as hers but this was the next best thing. That was until Mrs Kim quit cooking. When we went there I knew it as soon as I took the first bite of food. I asked the waitress if there was a new cook and she said they were training someone else. We have been back quite a few times hoping it would start tasting like it did. The food has gone downhill. It is unfortunate, my wife and myself go to koreana alot but now we are gonna go elsewhere. It's great that Mr.and Mrs kim are able to have someone else start doing the cooking for them. I am happy they got that far I just wish they would have trained the new staff better. The food is not horrible and I am sure alot of people would love it, but comparatively speaking it is not good at all.

The foods are kinda basic, the mixture of the food basically good can be accepted to eat, the environment comfortable with the extra space. The time on making foods affordable.

I cannot and I will not stop signing my praises for this restaurant. The food is beyond phenomenal. It does not appear that there is a host/hostess here so it does tend to take a little bit to get seated, and then it can take a little bit to get your food. Let's be real though, most places have been short staffed since, and this place is worth the wait. At this point, we come here every other weekend. I have never had a dish (or sushi) here that wasn't amazing. There was one situation during one of our visits, and my food was delayed and everyone else at the table had their food, oh well. The waitress was beyond sweet and wholesome. She continuously apologized - wasn't her fault- and checked in until I got my meal. I wasn't even mad. The food was so good and the waitress was so kind, it made up for a little extra wait.

Always an elegant dining experience. Interior has a dark, intimate feel, with modern decor, soft lights, massive wood slab tables, and a fireplace in the main dining room.

On multiple visits service has been attentive and intuitive. On weekends there may be a short wait for a table at peak times, but we have never been made to feel rushed to make room for another table.

This restaurant presents very well both many favorite Korean dishes like bulgogi and bibimbop, and Japanese sushi, sashimi, and nigiri. Korean pickled side dishes like kimchi and marinated tofu strips are delicious. Entrees and appetizers usually arrive quite promptly, and are prepared consistently well.

A couple steps up leads to a very elegant bar with comfortable club seating overlooking the dining room. It seems curiously underutilized considering how attractive it appears.

There are currently no hard liquors served, but the drinks menu includes several wines, sakis, special kombuchas and yogurts, and a delicious fermented spirit called soju that is well worth trying. We had the house soju and the grapefruit soju and found both excellent accompaniment with our meals.

Dinner for two is mid-priced, and a good value for the level of service and quality of food.
One of our most favorite Toledo area restaurants, worth our trips to here from SE Michigan.

Had an amazing dinner here with my girlfriend! Sadly, our waitress wasn't the best, but maybe she was having a bad day. Definitely still love this place and will be back again.

Bibimbap was good and came out in a timely manner. Don't think I've been to a Korean restaurant with some Japaness entrees and sushi under the same roof. I would say the decor was more Japanese. My only issue was waiting for my server to check in on me after I had finished my meal and was just waiting to pay so I could leave. Maybe she was on break.

This is one of the few Korean restaurants in town. They have amazing food and amazing service at decent prices. Portions are large.

Edit, 2 years after my original review, I wish I could make 2 reviews. This place is still amazing. My wife and I's favorite restaurant.

Our server, Daniel, was amazing! Best sushi I've had in a long time. We got the 3 person meal, Peter Parker Roll, Tempura Hot Hot Roll, and mochi for dessert.
