Kroger, Kettering OH

The pharmacy is so messed up but they're the only place that takes my insurance so I'm stuck. There's only a few things that I get here any longer. Aldi is so closeas plus much better prices.

Probably should update the hours if they stop accepting new customers over an hour before it says they close

Occasionally I stop in for a coffee at the Starbucks here in the morning. Christy is always on the ball. Excellent service, provides a great experience, and cares about her customers. Thank you Christy!

So sick of this Kroger they CONSTANTLY have their mix and match “sales” for 4 items, or last chance sale items however when you check out you’ll hardly ever see the price ring up correctly. This has been an issue for YEARS at this location.

I’m a frequent grocery pick up customer and cannot say enough great things about their service! From great produce selections, to efficient & kind pick up experiences, and even proactively offering discounts/coupons for any minor inconveniences… they’re truly great and do their best to go above and beyond. Much appreciated!

No cash registers open. Half of the self checkouts were closed. I should get paid if I have to do the cashiers job.

Did curbside. Half of items were not available, comments included “deli didn’t provide, ” No justification for others. Substituted rye bread for multi grain. Pretty poor performance. I was not early. Will try another store.

Next time when I need to buy $200 worth of groceries and they expect us to use the self-scan I'm dropping the cart at the checkout and leaving to shop somewhere else. Absolutely ridiculous! Hire more cashiers or else continue p*ssing off loyal customers. You're not the only option in town for groceries!

The supervisor in the pick up department is extremely rude. They basically stole money from me. I will never shop at this Kroger again and I think Walmart will have a new customer. I would rather pay a little extra for groceries and actually get the items I order. Kroger is literally the worst!

I love thos store honestly good people but the bakery department is so bad. They are usually out of the things I get and when they aren't the bread is way over cooked and super brown. I wish they would care about that department. I hate having to go to the other Kroger down the street for bread every single time. I come here for the selection they other Krogers don't have but end up hitting two stores in one day because the bakery department is so awful.

I had purchased some chocolate covered strawberries on Thursday and brought them home and put them in my fridge and upon opening the two packages today that I purchased they had mold on them! This is annoying with kroger and not having fresh produce.

Let's not kid ourselves. This place is not a grocery store - it's a convenience store that takes advantage of their customers with 25% price hikes and nothing but self-checkout lanes.

I challenge anyone who has been to this place in the last year to recall a time there has ever been more than one checkout lane open. Try and recall a time you've seen more than three workers in the store at one time. It is near impossible to shop at this place.

Any store that price gouges like this surely can't treat their overworked employees well. Good riddance. Better stores are minutes away.

Ordered several cakes and the last month I ordered a birthday cake the price was higher due to kit used but cake was so tiny! Always ordered same size but this one was smaller than normal!

I've had it with this place. I'm stuck in this mediocre town for a while and this Kroger is glaringly bad. The "manager" Katie wouldn't be hired at my business as a janitor. First she accused me of trying to scam her because the lottery machine ate my tickets (5th time in two months btw. Learn how to operate or don't have it.) Oh, a previous time, the supposed customer service lady with the 80's haircut who wears boot slippers to work (no standards in this town obviously compared to the Kroger I know) accused me of the same!
Then Katie gave me random tickets that weren't my selection and said that's "just how the machine works". In 37 states, I've never seen a lottery machine with random tickets in the roll. So Katie stole $60 from me essentially. I asked a cashier what Katie's name was because Katie hurried off (mind you I'm being polite the whole time, check the cameras) and the lady started insulting me! I left before losing my cool.
Another customer service manager with dark hair and tattoos is terrible. Never smiles. I've watched her on two occasions dress down a customer, one a 90 year old woman, by rudely spouting "I've been here 10 years" rather than fix whatever problem was at hand. As if not getting fired is an accomplishment.
Employees goof off, ignore you, talk on cell phones in public. Kroger was a classy place once but this store is atrocious and I cannot believe the people in charge are even employed. I'm going to call the police today regarding my $60, I have the exact camera and time this took place.
Shameful.

I only shop here occasionally, but each time I have been in I use the u-scan.
And I always have the same lady that helps with the u-scan. Cashier -
CHEC 515. She is the rudest person I believe I have ever met and she is like this EVERY time I come in. If she doesn't want to work then she should retire and let someone else do this job. She never speaks.if you need cigarettes, this seems to be inconvenient for her. I needed assistance today, the register wanted to verify my age for my purchase. I stood there and watched her wait on others. And then realized she had by passed my age on the register from her remote device, without even telling me it was done. Never is there a thank you or thank you for shopping at Krogers. Maybe she just needs to change positions, she is not very good at this one.
