Kroger Marketplace reviews
14This store use to be nice when it was new, but has since fallen to a very poor state of cleanliness and maintenance. I can’t handle the filth on the floors around the cash registers and bathrooms. It’s disgusting and should be embarrassing for Kroger. Front of store is constantly understaffed which does not make the experience more pleasant…
The store does not have enough shopping carts and the ones they do have are busted wrecks. Management doesn't care at all about it.
Always rude.never have my medicine.always have to buy over counter.
I stopped doing online ordering & pickup. They always wait till you say your on your way to tell you something is out of stock or a subsitute. Can't view your receipt until you pull up!
I forgot why I stopped the first time!
I love the staff here. Dianne, Rhonda, Susan, Calvin, Michael, Patty and Walter. I couldn't ask for better customer service. You are all truly appreciated.
I wait 45 minutes in the drive through pharmacy line for them to tell me it’s closed and to come inside as they just helped the car in front of me?
I go inside and have to wait another 45 minutes? Not even a spot held in line?
That is a horrible customer experience and you will have a lot of ticked off people if that is something you usually do.
Will they ever change anything? Nope.
But they should be a little less busy now since my family is switching.
I have been a loyal customer of this store for years and have never had a problem. Today I went in to get cereal that was on sale. Went to the self checkout the cereal did not ring up on sale. I called over the attendant her name was Susan and I showed her on the ad that they were on sale she said she needed me to go back and take pictures of each brands tag in the isle. I definitely felt like this was not my responsibility but I understand being short staffed so I went back in the isle took pictures of each tag. Went back up front where Susan proceeded to tell me she needed to check the date on each picture to make sure I wasn't lying to her to get cereal on sale. At this point it has taken over 20 mins and I felt completely disrespected as a customer.
As an employee it's your job to know the sales and it's surely not my job to prove it to you. Sad to see this is how kroger employees treat their customers.
I went in to the store tonight after going 50 times over the past summer, with a back pack on. To keep the story short the red head young girl at the self check out told me I was not allowed to take my back pack in the store. I told I would leave and go to Walmart hopped on my motorcycle and went for Walmart, turned around in the parking lot and went back in. When I got back in, I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager. The manager I spoke with was a woman named Michelle. I told her the cashier doesn't want me going in to the store she walked past me and ignored me i thought she was going to customer service to call someone else for the situation, but no she called two cart kids up to bring the carts in for the night. After she called them she came back over and said listen you're not taking your back pack in the store. The back pack mind you was a military back pack from the marine corps, with a motorcycle helmet strapped to it. There was an older lady in line at the self check out and I said what is the difference between her bag and mine, I then apologized to the woman for bringing her in to the situation. The supervisor response was listen your not taking it in the store so you either leave it here with us or you go. I'm sorry but I'm not leaving my back pack with people I don't know, where it could potentially be stolen. I asked them if they would be responsible if my bag got stolen, the cashier then said I will be right here. I'm sorry but I'm not leaving my personal stuff with someone I don't know to watch over it. I was literally going there to buy diapers for my 9 month old, needless to say I walked in to Walmart with my back pack and had no issues and got the diapers I needed. I'm going in tomorrow to see if I can have a better understanding on why this happened.
Update: a manager on days addressed the situation, assured me it was unacceptable to have happened, and reassured that it wouldn't happen again.
Not a store I will trade with again. The digital coupons are very deceiving. When I brought the problem to their attention, the 20 something manager was rude and told me the item was no longer on sale when it clearly was. I went back and got the price they had posted and he stated again it wasn't on sale. Yes, it was for three more days. Nothing is the right price when you make it to the checkout.
I can't say enough about our Kroger, I haven't been inside the store however and over 2 years because I utilize the grocery pickup. The young men and young women who bring the groceries out are the most pleasant individuals I've ever met and they seem to really enjoy their job. It shows by the smiles on their faces. But when I did go in the store I always got lost but that's because it's so big and so clean and it has everything you need from a new pair of boots to a package of cheese. There's always lots of parking as well as handicapped accessible.
Always love the marketplace.shop daily for fresh produce, and I appreciate how clean they keep the store from fay to day
This place is terrible. They never have nothing, shelves are bare. Produce is always nasty with white mold on it. Sad you have to look for another place to buy groceries at. Employees are not friendly. Use to be a nice store but not no more.
Nothing like getting a click list and getting home to your broccoli and strawberries are in the same bag as the raw chicken and hamburger.
Over charged my debit card. Store manager wouldn’t do anything about it.would not even give me a recpit so I could dispute the charge with my bank.
Great place great produce creamy great all-around groceries a stop here every time I'm in Newark
