Kroger Marketplace reviews
16As if the customer should be a priority. Have friendlier staff, more open registers in the morning.
Thomas was most helpful at moving the self check out along assisting all customers great service
Came into this Kroger on 09/29/2021 to do a bit of shopping. I noticed how short staffed they are seeing how long the lines were. I could see a lady with a name tag on a red lanyard and identified her Marlana, the Customer Service Manager (CSM).
I noticed that she was NOT wearing her mask correctly while their is a pandemic happening. Another thing I noticied about her is that she was EXTREMELY condescending, rude, and disrespectful to both staff and customers in the way (tone, pitch, etc.) she talked to them. I overheard her yelling at the Armed Security Guard, yet he was minding his own business. Then I noticied her talking to a few other customers and employees. Let’s just say that if I had an employee talk to my customers or employees like that, she would be fired!
I will NOT return to this store to do my shopping!
One of my favorite Kroger's in the city. Luckily it's not far from my neighborhood.
Generally laid out like superKroger in Anderson Township but store is smaller. But this store also has some clothes and home goods.
Store riding carts never charged up over night. Carts don't make it half way through the store. This is at 7am? Kroger night manager should do better. Carts are lined up sometimes but not plugged in!
In the wine department a sign is displayed that you receive a 10% Discount on 6 or more bottles of wine purchased (mix & match). But, when trying to purchase 8 bottles of wine I was refused the discount on the 2 additional bottles of wine because it wasn't a "multiple" of 6 bottles? This is insane and stupid.
It's a decent place; Sometimes the employees can be nasty and rude, Other times they can be peppy and actually happy to be there.
It's a 50/50, hopefully you get the good side
I will never do kroger pickup here again. Not only was the staff moving at snail-like speed. The line of cars was 45 minutes long to even get into a spot to check in. Why do they let this many people schedule for that time if they can’t handle that many cards outside? !?
Don't shop in the evenings. Checkout lines are incredibly long, waited almost 30 minutes today. They close one of the self checkout areas in the evenings and only have two registers open, it is one of the busiest times as well with people coming after the gym/work. It's insane.
Also they are frequently out of stock of many items. It's always a crapshoot if you are going to be able to get everything on your list or not. I try going different days, but it seems to always be like this, very understaffed. If it were open later like it used to be that would help. I go Aldi whenever I can now, or drive a few extra minutes to go to the Hyde Park Kroger. Oakley Kroger SUCKS!
Came into the store on 8/29/21 at 830 p.m to pick up a couple of items. When i went to check out there were only two cashiers and at least 20 people in each line. I kept walking farther, and farther to the back of the line until I realized that the line was still continuing back into the aisles. I gave up, went home, and ate cereal for dinner. Krogers must be really short on workers becuase when i worked at Krogers, if we were short, the manager would get on a registar, and call people from different departments to get on a registar. I guess everyone, including the night stockers were on their off days.
Reading these reviews you notice all of the lower reviews are pickup orders.people who unfortunately physically cannot, can’t walk into a store because they’re too tired or lazy, don’t feel like being around people from being too pretentious, and others who look for anything to complain about. I’ve been visiting this location since the day they opened and absolutely love it. I have had full time jobs, my 6 year olds day care an hour away, visit at 9am, or 9pm beyond exhausted but always was able to find anything and everything I was looking for. I understand some people are unable to park a little further away to walk a cart around and get what they need themselves but these click list workers work their booties off. Every one I pass filling orders is pushing a giant cart around and noticeably look for the best quality product, in a good mood and work to their highest potential. Veggies are always fresh, the seafood, meat counter are always beyond amazing with great recommendations. I always get salmon or shrimp with the buffalo seasoning and was just introduced to the Asian one.yum! I could go on and on. The bar always has great drafts and a great selection to choose from. Especially Jay, Stan, Tom and John. I’ll visit kroger and not even getting a beer I still love to see their smiling faces. Stanley is also great, always helpful if I’m looking for something I couldn’t find. Jennifer usually at self checkout is so sweet and so personable, she definitely knows how to make you smile. On top of the best quality food and options, my fav 5/3 bank is there, def visit Ana. She is astounding at her job and always makes sure her customers are satisfied and wants the best for us all. The store is always very clean, perfectly stocked, very convenient if you’re in a hurry and has a great location. The security there couldn’t even improve, so nice, were always covid friendly, especially Zach. Thank you to my fav Krog, I go at least 3-5 times a week not only for the perfect food but I like the positivity which is rare for a grocery store!
First, even though I only give it 2 stars, I like the store. People are friendly enough and it is well supplied in general. I can almost always find what I need there.
But during the pandemic I was using the drive-up pickup service and it was just horrible in terms of quality control. At least twice part of my order ended up in someone else's car. At other times I received items that belonged to someone else. If you engaged with people to correct these problems it could literally take HOURS and multiple trips.
So I gave up and went to Blue Ash's Kroger instead. They are generally quite good about getting the order right (not that they are perfect). When I return to normal visits 'in store' I will go back to Oakley Kroger. But I will not use their pick-up service. I learned the hard way not to trust it. Now I haven't used the Oakley for picking up orders for almost nine or ten months. Maybe they have gotten some quality control in their operation by now, but - frankly - I doubt it. What struck me was that folks doing this work really didn't try too hard to get orders right. I hope, for their sake, they are better now.
Worst Kroger in the whole Tri-State!
I waited for almost an hour for my clicklist order! Other people arriving after me came and went. Even called the store to check on the order but clearly that did not help. I wish I could say this was the first time this has happened but it's not.
Food court is suck. Several times my stomach was sick and today, I found a bug at the chicken salad sandwich. Hygiene level must’ve been pretty low. I am never gonna use it.
Grocery pickup is horrible.wait a hour out in my car.then they come out out and tell me i could come back in 30 mins if i wanted.its just a piss poor system.wont be using the pick up anymore.
