Kroger Pharmacy reviews
11Whew. What a mess. It has been months since picking up a prescription hasn't had a complication at this pharmacy. You can call a prescription in, be told it will be ready in 2 hours, only to show up and be told that your meds aren't in stock. Perhaps your insurance information will disappear from their system. Don't worry, there is a kroger on the opposite side of town that definitely won't have all the same problems this one does; in fact, you can drive a half hour right now to go get your meds! Save yourself time and heartache- go *anywhere* but here.
They are very understaffed and seem to have some issues getting prescriptions filled when they say they will. It took me four trips to the pharmacy to get one script filled, the last three trips being after they told me it would be filled. They also don’t seem to know whether things just haven’t been filled or are back ordered. I generally like using Kroger pharmacies but this one needs some work.
The past 6 times I’ve gone to the pharmacy my prescriptions have not been ready even though I was told they would be. Then, in addition, they took it upon themselves to change the medication I was taking because they deemed it too expensive and moved me to another brand without asking. I’m not happy with the level of service I’ve been receiving.
Jordan was very quick and helpful.excellent customer service from her when the other gentleman didn't give me the time of day.
It’s not that the staff is unfriendly, it’s just that they don’t see to have their stuff together. I’ve been told multiple times by phone call that my script is ready for pickup only to get there and find out that it was never actually filled, or isn’t completely ready and put together. I’ve had t o sit and wait for a long time, which is frustrating when they told you it was already ready for pickup. They also don’t let you know if a script you need is on backorder.they just tell you a different day that it will be ready and when it’s still not ready, you have to call and question to figure out what’s going on.they have a lot of poorly trained Technicians. Make sure you speak to a pharmacist
There is zero communication between the employees. I've lost track of the amount of times I have been told my medication will be filled by Friday evening, only to find out that it is in fact out of stock, and will not be in until Monday. They have also taken it upon themselves to not fill a prescription because they deem it to be too expensive. Even when there are multiple notes in my file about how I have a coupon, that gets overlooked.
If you have the option, consider a different pharmacy. While the staff may be friendly, the counter is woefully understaffed. Picking up a stand script can take 30 minutes or more of just waiting in line.
Very friendly, and usually good at filling prescriptions. However the past several times I have had prescriptions sent there, my paperwork hasn’t gone through, their systems were down, or my paperwork was lost and the prescription never filled. Last month, it took me 2 weeks to actually get my prescription filled. This month I am having a similar issue. They are very busy and understaffed in my opponion which has resulted in a lack of customer service. However, the employees are usually friendly and I am hoping these are isolated instances that will be fixed soon.
I can usually get my peppers, mushrooms, carrots, and they look better than those from Kroghetto.
I would like Kroger to continue the movement for some good bread with no High Fructose Corn Syrup.
This is my favorite Krogers store. They also send me discount coupons by mail and email, and most of them are for things that I have bought before at Krogers. The store manager, "Taylor", is a super nice guy. The staff at the in-store pharmacy are always very helpful and efficient, and they even remember my name. (Of course, I'm a memorable character.)
This store is smaller than the other Kroger stores in the area, but the selection is good, and the store layout makes everything easy to find. This store has excellent meat, produce, deli, and bakery departments. The cashiers are friendly and efficient.
