Food was very small portions, compared to what we are used to. We have been here probably over 20 times. This visit was very disappointing and they were expensive meals. Prices went up since we were last in there. Typically, it is a really good time. One of the waitresses was singing very loudly, too. However, she had a beautiful voice! Hopefully, the next visit will be better. It won't stop us from visiting.

Good food, friendly service and didn't wait long to eat. Waiter was upbeat and singing as he did his job. I had the Carnitas which were delicious. Definitely will be back. Shouldn't have waited so long to try it.

Hostess was very rude. We had tried calling 4 times, but each time the line was busy. We decided to just come in and place order at location. As soon as we came in and politely told her it was difficult to get a call thru she rolled her eyes and rudely asked " well do you know what you want? " Very unprofessional. She told us it would be 20 minutes. We left and went to the store for 20 minutes. Now I have been out here in the parking lot waiting on my wife for another 20 minutes as I write this review. Never again!

Maybe we caught them on a bad day. The food was good but the service was lackluster. We'd give it another try.

The food was ok, but the service was not the best. They weren't even busy. We had to find someone to refill our drinks cause our waiter never came back to check on us after food came out. Food didn't come with everything it was supposed to, but we couldn't tell anyone. Then when we left we found there was a live band and we think the employees were out there dancing. No customers out on patio.

I highly recommend La Playa! The food is delicious, drinks are fabulous and cold and the service is above and beyond! We always feel welcomed when we walk through the door. The owner and manager are visible and making sure things are running as they should. The manager, Bethany, is the absolute best! So friendly and high energy. Go check them out! You won't be disappointed!

It took over an hour to be greeted, seated, and order taken. It was another 45 minutes to get our food after our order was taken. It was not the fault of our server. He was the only one out of all of the staff that was actually hustling his but off. This was our first time here and will probably be our last.

Very busy but a short wait. Food and drinks was delish. Everyone working hard to give good service. Will def return! One of our favorite placeds to dine at the lake!

The lake and had an awesome dinner. The festive vibe and family atmosphere made it all together awesome. The food was delicious and my kids felt at ease and happy. Fams happy - papis happy. If you don’t believe it - try it. Pull up.

We drive by here all the time and finally stopped in. The food was great, generous portions of all the typical Mexican fare you would expect at reason prices. My daughter loved the atmosphere with the ship theme and everything water-related. She could play while she waited for her food.

One of the best Mexican restaurants around even beats the ones in Columbus that we have been to! The pineapple fajitas are one of my absolute favorites and are always on point! We try to go at least once a month if not more! I’m not a huge margarita fan but I do like theirs. Highly recommend! Bethany and her staff are always on it!

We have always like going here and enjoy the food, portions have always been generous, but today I ordered a chicken chimichanga and I was in total shock when she set tge plate down in front of me! It was the smallest so called chimichanga I have ever seen! Maybe 2 inches long! The little cup the sour cream came in was almost as big! Glad I ask for a side of beans. That was pitiful!

Absolutely phenomenal service and food and atmosphere! Never once been disappointed! Great place to eat and have a few drinks!

My husband and I stopped in for dinner last week. The moment we walked in we were greeted as if we were family at a holiday dinner! We chose to sit at the bar and were promptly tended to. We were delighted to hear the margarita and daiquiri mixes are blended from fresh fruit! No where does that anymore! We both chose the California burrito and received just that…a burrito the size of California! It was so good we left nothing on our plates! We will definitely return!

I just stopped in to check it out. It seemed like a nice place with a mix of high-end customers and regular folks. The menu seemed like the typical menu for a Mexican restaurant. The staff were very nice. I plan to eat there in the future.

Food was excellent. Also, I love the ambiance. They keep everything business. Your food is made in a timely manner. The staff is very friendly. Kid friendly, too. As long as they're on their best behavior, LoL! Prices are reasonable.
