Labor Works-Dayton

I work through labor Works, but I never been to this location yet. I plan on moving to Dayton Ohio soon from Washington State.

Kenny and Melissa are smart and great people
If it's your first day, just know the job load changes day by day and there may have been people who had to sit yesterday. You get paid the day you work.
If you're a chick. You gotta have some thick skin. There's enough guys there that are just thirsty af. Whether they're rude or nice the thirsty ones are desperate and will bother you. Keeping to yourself avoids most of that. There's very few men in there you just gotta avoid. Kenny and Melissa will help you if you need it though. Very good hearted people.

They love people who have a car and it's more money for you if you drive people to the job site.
Also, no job is garenteed for the day. Imagine you had 80-100 jobs randomly a day and 90-120 random workers a day. Some do they're job and some don't. Some say disrespectful things to staff and some don't. Just keep that in mind.
And if a supervisor trips on you at the jobsite, stay calm and explain it to Melissa or kenny later. They've had enough experience, they know some of these supervisors aren't fully developed maturity wise yet. And if you lie to melissa or kenny, they'll know.
The breathalyzer in the mornings you gotta know your body and when to stop drinking the night before. For most people it's 930. For some it's 11 and some is 630.
Krogers is right there if you trying to save your money on food.

Kenny and Melissa were nice. I like that they try to work with you but the jobs they send you out to is not worth it! 12-14 dollars a hour I wouldn't dare work through labor works again white castles pay more than that

Most rude and " ghetto" staff members they actually go out their way to make sure you don't get hired on a temp job so you can keep coming back to supply their labor

I needed work bad.went in an signed up.got sent out to a cool job the first day.if you looking for a place you can get some money an is serious about working, I'd say start here. P.s. I don't know if its a difference in what jobs is available when.but I started on they're 2nd shift.

They are so rude. Omg i hate how I be so respectful and Kenny just be so rude.and they show a lot of Favoritism and it’s not right!

Melissa who answered the phone was extremely rude she shouldnt work with people if you dont have people skills.

Very rude! I called to get more info on the place, the guy on the phone got smart & told me “no job starts you right away” which I told him there are some temp agencies that can start you the next day he got very nasty & told me “well this not how that work, bye”
