Lagoon Deer Park, Sandusky OH

Didn't go through the petting zoo. I just visited the gift shop. Very nice owners and the grounds were clean.

Fun but disapointing.not like it was over 30 yrs ago. Time has taken its toll on the place. But animals were fun to feed and pet.

This is one of the best kid friendly experiences in Sandusky, they have all different types of animals to pet and feed. One of the goats named Snow White is extremely friendly!

Had an awesome time here. Didn't see the animals. I went for the fishing. It was 9$ for adults and 6$ for my son. They have 3 fishing ponds. The middle pond is what I fished as he said that the middle pond had more bass and he was right. I stayed till dark. Fished about four hours and caught a total of 12 largemouths Caught on a worm, spinner bait and top water. If you're visiting and your wife's and kids are at cedar point. Bring a rod and chair with you. FYI no dogs because of the deer there.

Came out on a Thursday and turns out it's the perfect time because we were the only ones in the park for most of the visit! The experience was awesome, the animals are super interactive and not to mention GORGEOUS! There are benches throughout the park to just sit and watch the animals in their home. The donkey, Blackjack, had a great personality and yelled at us when we didn't say hi to him! Great visit and even better price, the man who worked the gift shop/admissions was super nice and you can tell he takes pride in taking care of his animals. Will definitely be back!

Husband and I love deer and this made our day. The deer walk up to you and beg for food. Watch your bag, they grab it from EVERY angle. The variety was fantastic and the babies were so beautiful.

My 1 year old had the best time ever! I love this place its set away from the road which makes it feel kinda peaceful. Has a nice little gift shop as well

As my son said you can probably catch more fish from the storm drains. Don't waste your money. It is also funny that catfish bite at night only and they close at 8 that's when it's dark.

For the so called stocked fishing ponds, all there really is is the huge carp in the pond near the parking lot to give the illusion that the ponds are full of fish.

This was our second visit here it was great so much fun to go with my family great place for kids and adults alike there's also a pond which you can pay to fish for the day if you want which is pretty cool

Visited one Labor day with my family. Always a good time. The animals definitely know the drill, so hang onto your food bags upon entry! Good array of animals in a well maintained environment. Never disappoints!

I went for the Fishing and feeding and it was amazing. It was cool to feed their variety of animals I loved them. Fishing was awesome too the pond is stocked very nice caught me a 12 pound channel cat. The staff was also very kind they while chatting she told my Fiancé and I the background of the place and gave us tips for fishing the pond. Needless to say I will be going back.

I had a great time at the park. It was family owned and a nice place to stop and pet the animals and feed the deer. Also they were very friendly there and had a nice gift shop!

Not a small petting zoo, this place is big! A lot of different animals to see and feed. They have fishing ponds too

Always enjoy going here my wife calls it her happy place not many places you can go and have deer and goats following you around

10/10, had a great time. Adorable, well-cared for animals who have no table manners. I would recommend not giving any bags of food that you buy at the shop to any little kids that you may be bringing, as the deer aren't terribly polite.

The guy who worked here was very friendly and helpful.

Perfect petting zoo for all ages, walk round with a bag of animal feed, hand feed the animals of all ages.
