Tried to get a day pass while visiting family for Thanksgiving. Was told that they don't do them any longer since COVID. While understandable during the height of the pandemic, there were clearly no COVID restrictions or mitigation efforts in place now and thus this policy is out of date. Other Y's in Ohio have already started their day passes again and this area needs to join.

Friendly staff and decent weight room. Kind of small but has the staples. LOTS of cardio equipment so you’ll never have to wait for them unless you want a stair master or rower, there’s two of each. The facilities are always clean as well.

I really don’t understand how I can’t play basketball because of high school cheerleading practice, which has nothing to do with the YMCA. It takes up the main basketball court, even though the practice could take place on the back 2 courts, which are much worst then the front 2. I bought a pass to be able to play basketball when I wanted, but because of cheerleading I can’t. There are exceptions that I would be fine with as long as the courts are being used by someone that is paying the y, but for cheeerleading to use the best court for 4 straight hours when the gym is the busiest just makes no sense to me.

I find it very ridiculous the price I pay for a membership and the only thing I use is the basketball courts and all these school programs come in and take both the courts almost every day.

Can't even use the actual courts 75% of the time I walk in the place from SCHOOL sports. When I go the ymca I want to be able to play on an actual court not a baby court with tape on the ground. Also my family spends $720 a year for our family membership. How much money do you profit off of cheer practice compared to all the members who pay to use the courts and they can't. Especially in the winter this is when it matters the most because you can't play basketball outside because it's too cold.

I just can’t deal the y anymore. Everyday I come in and see some unathletic girls practicing a fake sport called “cheerleading” they aren’t good at it at all and just hog the courts to play BASKETBALL not for cheerleading. They aren’t good at anything and are wasting there time. I’m thinking about starting a fundraiser to buy back the courts for only basketball from now on. Who’s with me get rid of “CHEERLEADING”

Personally me and my family have been going to this branch as long as it’s been built. I do not pay to go here my dad pays a family deal so all of my family can use this facility. I go to play basketball almost every day and I am forced to either play for an hour then leave or play on a smaller court used for little children with standup basketball hoops. The reason we have to use these is because the schools basketball teams come in and have practice and games which is completely ok. What’s not ok is that the school cheerleading team takes the first and best court in the gym for over 4 hours. A way to solve this would be to move them to the far smaller courts at the end of the gym. They say they need to use that court because they cannot move the mats all the way over to the end but if the mats were placed over at the other end by the staff members there would be no problems and there would be an open court for guests to play on. Me and my friends have a y ball team and we cannot practice because the courts are taken and the weather is too cold to play outside. I understand the cheerleaders need space to practice but it is a public facility and it is not fair to the others who just want to enjoy the game of basketball

This place isn’t worth going during the week. I understand if their are basketball games that take up a court. But cheerleading really? They don’t even take up a bad court they use the main one. There is no reason for this either, they could easily fit back there with the same amount of room. No real point to waste money constantly if I can’t use a good court 5 out of the 7 days a week

Can never play bastketball here because there is constantly cheerleaders taking up all of the courts for 4 hours and by the time they are off it’s closed. It’s not just for one season either they are there all year long except for summer. If I have to pay for a pass all year long then I should be able to use the courts all year long. If you like to play basketball and your thinking about getting a pass here I wouldn’t recommend it.

The front desk ladies are very rude. I had 3 friends the were members playing basketball and they wouldn’t let me get one of them so I could get a guess pass and play with them. I had to sit out in the parking lot for 30 minutes waiting for 1 of them to answer there phone and when I came back in the still had an attitude.

Times are terrible right now. They should be open till 9 on Saturday. Plus, they need to be open on Sunday. Like am I going to be outside in 20 degree weather on Sunday in the winter. Also, the people there are rude and mean.

Been going here when I'm in town but not a big fan of the people running it. Need to get some younger talent.

Great walking track. Finishing a remodeling that adds space for additional machines and nicer change rooms. Great people.
