Lake Erie Nature & Science Center reviews
16My kids and I enjoy this nature and science center. We especially like going to the planetarium programs they have to offer.
Clean nature center. Nice staff. A bit smaller than I anticipated inside. We walked a short paved trail, good for little kids. Able to eat at picnic tables after a walk across street.
A small nature & science center but worth the visit. Went to two planetarium shows and are beautiful and stunning to look at. Definitely worth to check out on a trip.
Beautiful place, extremely nice people, and I believe they're open 7 days a week. I was calling around every where trying to find a place to take a baby kestrel that was brought to me, and they were more than happy to help, including finding a place that has a kestrel nest with babies around the same age and add it to a new family. Also very willing to give information on the progress of the baby. Wonderful place and people I highly recommend it!
Found baby ducks with no mom in sight and this amazing place took them in- they told me they are only a day old and gave me a lot of info, plus ID numbers so I can check on them. No place was taking ducks, I thought I was going to be stuck trying to figure out what to do', but lake erie gladly welcomed the ducklings!
Loved it. Brought my kids here. Lots of animals to see and learn about. 3 different owls, an american eagle, crows, ducks, falcon, fish, turtles, snakes and more. Well worth the stop.
My experience with Erie Science and Nature Center was amazing and I cannot wait to check out all the programs they offer! I brought a squirrel to them and they are currently nursing it back to health to release in our backyard again. Kyle at the center was super helpful not only over the phone in giving advice but also in person handling the squirrel and answering any questions! Thank you so much!
I volunteer at this nature center. The center has a planetarium withe frequent shows, an animal care center for injured birds and small animals and has many educational displays. Admission is free too.
A great, free hour with the kids. Indoor and outdoor animals with a live bald eagle lend to a great experience. Planterium shows are worth the $5/person fee and the sign-up.is easy online. We come very often!
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean restrooms. Interesting animal exhibits of wildlife that can no longer be in the wild. They have a planetarium but it was not open at the time of our visit.
Took my toddler and baby here on a Saturday. We had a relaxing and great time here. Thank you for the people are keeping this place open
This is mainly an activity for small kids. I went as a solo traveler and didn’t really have an enjoyable time. The best part of the science center is the pollinating a garden outside.
Took my daughter to the twinkle tots show at the planetarium for her first birthday and she had so much fun! Always a fun place to take the little ones
Well managed and maintained Nature and Science center. Great for kids and family. No admission fee and parking is free. Donation is optional.
Was satisfactory, room could have been cleaner, (paper an wrappers left under bed an desk. But w/support staff in short supply no real problem's.
Great experience for young kids. Nature Center has exhibits both inside and out. Animals are all rescued. Great views of area wildlife.
