Lake Front Park and Beach reviews
14My childhood stomping ground! Miss this place so much, I have so many memories here. Stopped by on a day trip with family from the United Kingdom to show them around and they loved it! The park has changed a little bit, but only for the better. Since moving I still bring my kids here all the time, whenever I'm in town and they love it just as much as I did as a kid. It is so great to see them squeal with the light as I did going down the slides and playing in the water when I was young.
Beautifully kept. Good neighborhood. I felt safe as I walked. The area enough benches to rest. I recommend
Love love love this park, my family and I take trips to visit here at least three times a year. Very clean & nice bathrooms!
Great well kept beach. The whole family loved it and had so much fun. Plenty of room and not packed at all
Really a great lil place.clean and water isn't deep at all if u want to go in and nice lil playground for the kiddos or relax and have a lil picnic
Cute park. It's on the water (Lake Erie) and at night you can see Cedar Point to the left and the light house to the right. The little park is meant for little kids. That's fine, but I wish that had one swing I could sit on that didn't have the medieval torture device they put their legs through. At night there's a crazy amount of spiders, people randomly parking to smoke a bit and noise from a local bar. During the day, nice little place to walk a dog. Beach is not really a beach and park is for under 8-10 yrs old.
Beautiful park! Sunset was gorgeous!
Lighthouse, something no one should miss.
Very clean. We had a great time there.
Water was clear. Lots of boats were able to come up near the beach so people could swim in the shallower water.
We went for a walk along the water, toward the Huron lighthouse. By the parking lot there is a beach, there were lots of families swimming, but the water was too green for my liking. Past the beach, along the rocks next to the sidewalk we spotted about 7 snakes. I'm not sure what kind they are ️ but they were just hanging out. I nicknamed that place "snake beach. "
Scenic.beautiful Lake Erie. Outstanding sunset photos. Perfect beach for kids because the shallow area is huge and protected from waves.
A lot of open space stretched around the lake, soft sand & a shower. There are also dressing rooms/ restrooms in the Beach area, and a beautiful area further down at the park area. The water isn't deep at all. Water is see though and beautiful. Went here 3 times during our trip. Will definitely be back
I stumbled upon this little gem cruising back home to Toledo. Best sunset I've seen in Ohio hands down. It was busy and full of beautiful couples watching the sunsets together. Friends and restaurant goers all watched together. Truly beautiful and a blessed moment I will never forget. The sand and water were perfect at the beach. What perfect timing!
Pretty sweet little park with lake access. Quiet and a great spot to spend the day or at least a portion if it!
Loved this park where we could watch people at a nearby beach, watch pleasure boats, and cargo ships on the water, as well as folks walking their dogs along the shore. Clean and well maintained. Loved this park!
