Lake Inn -Buckeye Lake

This place will bleed you dry of all of your money without any remorse. Very unprofessional staff. There were multiple occasions where I had to kill a cockroach. And im pretty sure my neighbor was a coke dealer. Fights every night. Cops every night. If you want a nice peaceful extended stay somewhere do not come here. You get what you pay for I guess.

The house keeper and management were nice.
The management needs to be taught how to clean so they can teach house keepers how to clean. Actually the whole place needs a complete over haul in basic and deep cleaning from top to bottom. All linen towels, sheets etc, etc need to be replaced. All linen and towels had dirty stains on them. Obviously they don't believe in bleach and vinegar for cleaning. No bugs just every thing was dirty.

Nice updates to the place have been done! Location is near the lake, fast food and a gas station. Not to expensive and staff is very nice and accommodating. They are always looking for ways to improve and want you to have the best experience possible.

This place has bed bugs and the owner is rude and has a so-called security guard in a raged out car. There’s better places to stay down the road.

According to news reports, on April 3,2023, members of the Buckeye Lake Fire and Police Departments arrived on the property and ordered the guests to "evacuate" the building due to "health and safety" concerns regarding bed bugs. The estimated 50-60 guests were given approximately 3 hours to remove their belongings from the rooms. The manager issued refund checks but were reportedly post-dated so they could not be cashed until a later date. Many of the guests did not have the money to get other accommodations. A number of the guests reportedly spent the night at a nearly gas station or slept in their cars. Local social service agencies were overwhelmed by the number of people needing help. The motel was renting rooms in June but the upper level remains closed.

Staff is very nice room is clean I'll be coming to stay again soon I love lake inn and very peaceful

While I was finishing college and I recently graduated earning my degree I stayed in this motel for over two months. I paid tons of my hard earned money for a room that was not worth it at all, dirty and nasty and I saw some bed bugs. The owner of this place is rude with a filthy mouth, doesn't respect family values with children and is only money hungry. Last year it was the worst experience motel staying and I paid way more than it's worth.

IT IS A VERY, VERY RUN DOWN PLACE. There are absolutely no frills at all. I will say this, one lady to clean ALL OF THE ROOMS, ONE!

The owner Sunny kept harassing us, overcharged me, tried to tow my vehicle! He is a horrible person; I feel bad for his wife. Not to mention the rooms are nasty!

Every thing needs repaired or replaced.was there last week it was freezing cold out side so I turned heater on, and the next thing happened smoke alarms went, because smoke and sparks shooting out of heater. Told manager and he didn't care ga e ma a different room where toilet didn't flush. Stay awake from this place.

The sheets were dirty, had a pubic hair on them, big cigarette burn in the blanket, killed a cockroach, the sink drain leaked all the water on the floor just brushing ur teeth, it was a 2 bed room I had my 3 kids with me, only had 2 washcloths, 2 towels, asked for 2 more since there was 4 of us and the Manager straight said NO! Sign says $59 a night he charged me $80. Would not stay here again. DIRTY

I don't mind unscenic surroundings nor a lack a amenities. But our bed, while comfortable, did not have a blanket. A sheet and a bedspread, and the bedspread was not one that works well as a blanket. Also, low water pressure in the shower and no adjustable shower head. And the cold water never got properly cold. Room temperature water I'm good with, but my choice when I was thirsty was hot water or warm water.
