Lake Liberty reviews
16Love the lake but owner is a drug addict piece of work who doesn't have the money or decency to pay out when a slot for $1800 was hit. Owners cussing yelling slamming shitz in front of my 8 and 10 year old girls then told us get off his property cause he didn't want to pay my dad for catching the slot 34.6lbs. No live bait and high weeds all around bank of lake not to mention $78 for two people my dad and me. Wasn't his first time doing this to us but it's the last
We fished for over four hours, didn’t catch anything. There were entire skeletons of fish everywhere on land.
Took me couple of trips to figure lake out. Now that I have fish on! Like any type of fishing be right at light or dark.
Awesome place to fish. Had a blast caught over 60 carp and few small cats. Excellent new owners.
I was there 2 times and noting. Didn't catch and didn't see anyone's did. All good comments it's fake
Fantastic time with my wife, son, and our grand daughter fishing and enjoying great weather. Caught plenty of Vitamin D, made a couple of acquaintances, but non with fins. I would recommend Lake Liberty for a family fun fishing afternoon. The folks running the place were very friendly.
Lake Liberty hosted our special needs fishing tournament. They went above and beyond to make sure these kids had a great time. I recommend fishing here, the owner stocks the 3 lakes regularly, and keeps the property clean.
They do not accept credit card. Cash, venmo or paypal are your only options. That was a huge surprise. My wife and I caught about 10 fish in a little less then 4 hours of fishing. The folks to the right of us caught around the same amount and the people to our left also caught a bunch. All were channels and carp. We had a great time. I would have likely rated them higher if the bait shop had better payment options and more food options.
Lot's of people say there are very few fish here. That maybe true because they don't waste good money on stocking dead-hole lake. Living across the street I haven't seen a single truck bringing in the fish like they use to. Bring cash, no need for hooks and poles.
Our cubscout troop did a campout here. It was amazing. They were great with the kids and the fish were biting.
The owner or who I believed to be the owner was very kind and pretty cool so that's all good only thing was we didn't catch nothing we were there for about six hours but I dunno maybe just a bad day or something
Do Not Come Here. She charges 20 and does not refund even if you decide to leave after 30 min. The fish don't bite, the lakes are polluted and there are dead fish floating all over.
Don't ever go there, the people are rude and the food is NASTY.the "BEST " pay lake around is Triangle pay lake in Middletown.
I just went here July 21st on my birthday and caught a 26 pounder and hit a slot for 100 dollars love this place the lady took a picture of me and the fish I'm just waiting on her to post it on the page. This is a awesome place to fish and the people who work there are very nice and helpful!
Very friendly staff, first of all. The shop owner even helped us identify a strange looking fish. We caught 2 carp, and had a great time doing it.
Like the new owners way better than last. More inviting and friendly good experience all around.
