It was perfect for our group. We used the shelter house and that was very nice with electric outlets for warming food. There were pit latrines near the lake, which was a short walk away.

This was an awful place. There was no toilet paper in the restroom. The restrooms and showers needed clean. The ground was covered with rocks. It is definitely not a place to pitch a tent. The bugs were awful. Don’t waste your money staying at this place. The swimming pack cost 15 per person so it’s not even included in the price to stay the night.

Our visit consisted of the water park specifically.

The price is extremely high considering they don't have changing facilities, a bath house, or even a bathroom. There is a single overflowing porta potty in the parking lot that we were told we could use.

Prior to going, we tried to call numerous times to get more information as the website is lacking a bit. I don't know if the calls route to the water park office, but they were just sitting on their phones. It was disappointing, but that may not be the water parks fault.

Please just invest in an actual bath house. The price should be free to $5 at most because of this.

I had recently given a bad review because of the experience we had the first time. Let me just say, they made it right by apologizing and giving us free Waterpark tickets. Nothing is gonna be perfect but it's honorable when the business acknowledges they were wrong. I'd like to see the changing area open, still not thrilled about changing in a port a pot

The cabin was nice and very fairly priced but we spent the first hour cleaning up the birthday remains from the previous occupants. The whole reason we booked this cabin was for the kids to have a fun weekend at the lake and play on the inflatable obstacle course but we found out on arrival that it was closed because they didn't have a life guard on staff.

Struggling for staff so limited capacity/hours; 2 biggest inflatables (and most) were BEYOND soft…it was like walking in a foam pit up top. This creates safety issues for climbing up (slipping and hitting people below you) as they had no rigidity and functioned like a (vertical) blob from movie Heavyweights. Most climbing sides were non functional because of softness; broken/missing handles for climbing on multiple obstacles.

Used to be awesome… but it seems they’ve stopped trying.

With all the changes happening, the place doesn't seem as festive and full of campers this year. This is a great place for the Paw Paw fest. Hope things get pepped back up again.

We stayed 2 weeks, and for us, the campground is very quiet, not very crowded, but terribly mismanaged and way understaffed. The bathhouse (women's side) sometimes has toilet paper, never any hand soap and occasionally paper towels. The showers are disgusting! I'm not sure when the last time they were cleaned. The RV spots were large enough, but far from level.

Reserved campsite for 4 nights. Arrived to check in and office was closed. No staff available except 2 persons at the lake pay swimming area. Went there to ask how we could contact someone about our camp area. We had no table, no fire ring and no camper pad area. Water was across the street and we were advised we could not run water hose across the road to fill up tank. Someone was supposed to meet us at our site at 3pm, no one showed up. We had to find our own table and fire ring.
Also the shower house is unsanitary, reeking of mold, no toilet paper. All bathrooms throughout the entire park has been shut down and ports jons set in front of or beside. Those have not been cleaned for some time and are in need of servicing.
This campground could be an absolute wonderful place if it had the proper staff and updated facilities. There needs to be staff that knows what is going on. Office needs to be staffed and messages need to be returned if there isn’t anyone in office during office hours.
Very disappointed in what has changed since our first stay just 3 short years ago! We will not be back!

The lake itself is great, has lots of potential.
But its definitely poorly mismanaged.
We got put in a campsite that wasn't set up for regular electricity, but for a camper.diff. Watts. Ect. The kid in office was well aware we were in a tent.if it weren't for some fella campers who camp there for the season, who had adaptors to help get us electric, we would have had to leave. And we traveled almost 2 hours to get there.
The hours of the office that are listed on website, are not the hours they really stay. We arrived at 6: 00 pm. And the office was closed. That was on Friday eve. On sat. When we discovered the elec. Box wouldn't work on reg. Amp. Elec. It was 3 o'clock. Went to office. CLOSED. Very unprofessional and decieving. PLEASE GET SOMEONE TO RUN THIS BUSINESS PROPERLY.we don't like the fact that there is no option other than reservations
Online.should be able to call office during office hours and reserve sites that way as well.not everyone is a computer whiz. Elders weren't raised in the same generation or fashion. OLDER AND FRUSTRATED. PLEASE CONSIDER
ELDERS AND OUR DIFFERENCES, AND MAKE THIS PLEASANT FOR ALL

I have attempted to contact this place via phone call at the number listed and have left voicemails. I have also emailed the email on file. I wanted to schedule a company outing bringing hundreds of folks to this facility but I can’t get anyone to contact me.
