Lewis Road Riding Ring reviews
11My kids thoroughly enjoyed the horseback riding here. It was spacious and peaceful. Nice breeze blowing. It was a beautiful day
Beautiful wide Open Fields, great hiking trails and one of the best places to view sunsets with minimal visual reminders of the modern world.
This is one of my favorite areas of the park, great views without having to work too hard. My biggest concern has to do with dog walkers not being aware of regular equestrians walking around.
If you aren't sure your dog won't flip around horses, don't bring them here.
Quite overgrown now, but a wonderful hidden treasure. Hike here with your pups and you probably won't see another soul.
If your looking for a part of the valley that's usually not too crowded and sometimes has horse's. This location is prime except watch out for some lumps of horse poo in some spots.
Arena isn't really taken care of was overgrown and not maintained. Parking area is ok plenty of room for trailers.
Riding my horse is the BEST therapy for me. I ride with my best friend. Sometime we don't even talk. We just enjoy the silence. Peace to all.
Love taking the dog there so she can discover the horse trails. She absolutely loves it. She's half border collie so it's her natural setting.
People attending the riding ring are Not friendly to hikers. Yelled at us for misusing trail that the horse was "entitled" to. Was an older lady that seemed to feel she owned the riding ring. Hikers beware. If you own a horse your golden and would probably enjoy this riding location.
Great place for a hike. Lots of good trails along the rim of the river. Also a good chance you can see horses while on your trip. A lot of the pine trees are dying it looks like must be some kind of bug killing them.
