Licking County Job and Family Services reviews
5Horrible people they help who don't need help and take good people's kids zero stars horrible organization
If I could give it zero stars I would this place and its call center are two prime examples of people who just simply don't like they're jobs. Not only have I personally experienced alot of the stuff in the comments but it is physically impossible to do anything over phone or internet. You call the call center and press all of the buttons accordingly it says its going to connect you to an agent and as soon as you hear it connect the event hangs up. The internet website is twice as bad if they can't confirm your identity they have you call experience to verify your identity which they can't even do. I'm HIGHLY disgusted at how purposefully hard yall make it to Stat on tip of our benefits its almost like you do it just to be able to take them away easier.
I want to commend the staff at this establishment especially Jessica at the front desk. She was immeasurably helpful and efficient. This woman deserves a BIG raise! Everyone has been kind and considerate that I have encountered here. I thank Job and Family for making a very difficult situation somewhat less stressful.
These guys made a clerical error in SNAP benefits with my ex and I back in 2018/19 and charged us $2500 for it. Now they’re garnishing my federal taxes for around $3500 total and there’s nothing I can do about it. ILLEGAL! I can’t even take them to court! If you want SNAP benefits from these guys, BEWARE! I’ve spoken to them several times and lately they’ve been ignoring my emails. I don’t understand how this kind of treatment is allowed. I hope they get what they deserve.
I received a form in the mail to update my SNAP benefits (snap assistance interim report). It came 2 days before the deadline, no return envelope. The website has no place to upload it and it says that you can fax it but there is no fax number! I Google and called the office and there is no fax number. I am very frustrated I live in Johnstown and don't have money for gas to drive clear to Newark over a form that I should be able to complete online, email or fax!
