Dr. Hurley refused to give me a scheduled c section that was scheduled today! Tried to talk me out of it yesterday. Lied about us meeting before for an planned ultrasound he decided to also not do. He did no pelvic exam, that two other dr.s did and they concluded my pelvict was too small. So they scheduled a C-section for the safety of me and my baby, which Hurley with no pelvic exam denied on the day of surgery. Also had tubial litigation scheduled at the same time and he sought fit to obviously state the obvious, that'its fn permanent That's the fn point. I was made to feel like my opinion didn't matter. He was totally unprofessional.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Been here 4 hours haven’t gotten anything for my pain, haven’t gotten any labs done, nothing, all they gave was a small cup of water! Despicable! 0 stars!

I had the most disrespectful and dehumanizing experience here. The doctor was rude, dismissive, and careless. Licking memorial amplifies the discomfort of hospitalization and ensures that your time there will be absolutely miserable. If I could give 0 stars I would

I went to the ER for a nosebleed. Of course I did not want to be there at all. Knowing my history and with testing, the staff determined that I was facing Kidney Failure as well as needing surgery to stop the profuse bleeding. I still, after weeks of various treatments and procedures do not want to be there. BUT, the care was exemplary, Doctors, Nurses and Surgeons, kind, considerate and professional.
I am alive and in good health.to the staff if you read this, I am sure you know who this is, THANK YOU, Stephen Curliss.

I've had them call my dad while I was laying in an intersection after a wreck and ask him to come pick me up. He was in Columbus working and got to me just as fast as their ambulance did.

On another note my ex's grandpa was in there for extreme stomach pain, they didn't even really check him out and said it was nothing, within minutes his appendix burst and he almost died because they didn't take his pain seriously.

Ole raspy Nadia treated my Vietnam veteran grandpa (who has never touched a drug in his life) like a drug addict. And due to her negligence by not actively checking the hematoma on his leg, the skin died all around it and will probably never heal. She is solely to blame for this, thank god we took pictures every 30 minutes to show how rapidly he was internally bleeding or it would be our word Vs hers. The last time she sent a tech in not even herself because she didn’t want to deal
With my grandpa, who had a high pain tolerance, SCREAMING in pain. After all of the bad reviews about this scumbag I don’t know how she still has a job.

The last straw after my Mom losing her life in Surgery @ LMH after beating TWO (2) cancers was Radiology losing my Daughter's precious ring she had JUST received from her boyfriend in honor of her being sworn into the USAF. No care is taken for patients or valuables at Licking Memorial Health System.

The Licking Memorial Hospital ER and 4th floor staff of nurses and doctors treated my son for his brain cancer. The care he received was the best ever. The care was highly professional and given freely from the heart. My family couldn't be more pleased with the care given my son at LMH. Thank you so much.

Dr. Mueller did surgery on two of my family members and he is marvelous! The nurse Linda helped my grandma and my uncle and she is very generous and gentle. Thank you!

My experience yesterday was terrible. I'm not a complainer. I'm an introvert, people pleaser, and always give people the benefit of the doubt but this hospital is ridiculous. Everyone from intake to the doctors (other than the x-ray techs) treated me awful. After being in the waiting room for hours, which is no problem at all to me, it's a hospital and I completely understand that it's going to be a very long wait, the lady that wheeled me back to my room, did it so fast that my family would have had to sprint to keep up. She didn't give them even two quick seconds to grab our belongings, she knew they were my family. I've been wheeled through hospitals a lot in my life and it was just crazy. My family are very fast walkers, they were speed walking and still unable to catch up because she didn't care at all if they did. That's where the lack of compassion started but it continued with me every step. Good bedside manners are extremely important, but nobody other than the x-ray techs had any. My nurse was rude, seemed annoyed with me for no reason at all. Her body language and lack of empathy screamed that she is burnt out in her career. When asked my pain scale, she misheard me and got smart with me. Not a single smile or feeling of comfort from her or the doctors. I felt looked down on with comments. It's like patients can't ask questions because doctors think you're questioning their knowledge. That's not right at all, everyone should have the ability to feel comfortable asking questions about what's happening with their body. Both doctors tried to look at my severe rash on the back of my neck in the dark. When my mom asked if she could turn the light on for them she was ignored. Then after about 30 seconds the doctor put a little light on it instead of having the lights on in the room to look at a rash that is so severe it's causing a stiff neck, high fever, massive headache, burning, itching, and I even passed out which is what brought me into the hospital. My mom asked a question about the rash and was looked at like she was an idiot and talked down to. My sister is an RN, my uncle is a surgeon, and I have several other family members in the medical field. They all agree that the way I was treated was wrong. A good medical professional is humane, compassionate, empathetic and supportive. It's not only about getting to that diagnosis. It's about doing so while making the patient feel like you actually care about what they have to say or are feeling. The inability to do so, is a huge problem. I'm 39 years old and been in and out of hospitals a lot for emergencies/surgeries. I've had positive experiences at those other hospitals, everyone was amazing. I hope I never have to step foot in Licking Memorial again. I've never once had a good experience there, but this time really made me upset. We might be just another number to you, but this is our life. Be your own advocate and seek better care elsewhere if you're able to. Somewhere that you will be treated with the respect that you deserve.

Worst experience ever tonight. My son has a dislocated shoulder. They were extremely rude and the doctor in the er didn't know what he was talking about. Dr. Qiu was very rude. One of the nurses was being a b#$ch
I don't know what there problem was. They deserve minus a star

If you want a hospital that'll half-a** your care come no further! They'll even ask a premium for the privilege!
They didn't wash my wound in the ER and now that I'm out and have been talking to other people about their experience with Licking Memorial it seems to be common practice. Definitely concerning.

There's a reason why Licking Memorial has a bad reputation. Please listen to the bad reviews. I went in last night with extreme neck, jaw, head and stomach pain. I haven't been able to eat for a couple days because my stomach pain is so extreme. Dr. Anders would only address my stomach pain and no other systems I was having. He was a know-it-all who had no compassion and would not listen to me or my doctor's advice. Was convinced my stomach pain was due to my gallbladder but said I couldn't get an ultrasound because they stopped doing that after 7. I had blood in my urine the day before, my doctor said it was more than likely from passing a kidney stone, and this doctor still didn't think it necessary to do a CT scan. He told me since I wasn't puking blood that it's not an emergency. If you get Dr. Anders, you're better off ripping out the IV from your arm and not wasting any more of your time. Better yet, don't go to this hospital. Please. Go anywhere else but here.

I was there 7-11-2013 around 9: 00 pm the triage nurse put the blood pressure cuff on me but didn't take my blood pressure instead of the forehead thermometer she used the mouth one held it in my mouth I thought I was going to have a hole under my tongue by her pushing on it she wrote down my vitals and used the blood pressure reading from the person she checked before me as I said she didn't start the blood pressure when she put the cuff on me then I was waiting for them to call me back instead 7 to 8 others was called back that checked in after I did I do understand that if someone else is worse off then I am they should go ahead of me but one of them said she was there because of an earache at midnight I gave up and had them take my name off and I was and still am in severe pain

Absolute trash organization, DO NOT GO HERE. I came to the ER with a severe allergic reaction, and my body was in anaphylactic shock. I was ice cold, shaking, and struggling to breathe - while my fingers and toes were losing circulation. The lady at the front desk (who should be fired) - sat there and let people with sprained ankles go before me, even after I relayed how serious of an emergency it was. Imagine sitting in a wheelchair because you can’t walk from a reaction while trying to stay conscious - and the lady says wait your turn. You need to get EDUCATED people working the front desk and should be absolutely ashamed. I know nobody will do anything anyways, because that is just how this hospital operates. The techs in the front desk are truly worthless and whoever reads this should take action because what they allowed to happen is an absolute embarrassment!
