Life Care is an amazing place. With so much longevity and compassion here, I would choose no other place to work or recover. I have been working here over 11 years and have gone through a lot of life changes. I've gone through child birth, we went through the pandemic, and I brought my mom here in 2018 after a discovery of brain cancer and thanks to my nurses, my co workers and Drs, she passed peacefully and pain free. We're are family here.

Life Care center of Westlake is the true definition of family. My Great Aunt, Grandfather, and grandmother have all been residents in this facility for various reasons. The staff attended to all of their needs in timely manner and with compassion and kindness. Nurses and aides communicated changes or issues and explained what would make things better for my family. We love life care so much that other family members have been at the Elyria and Cleveland Tennessee locations as well. Thank you Life Care for helping us care for our loved ones. LLCA paid $315,000 to a residents family members in a lawsuit against them. The resident needed help swallowing/digesting so they had a tube inserted. The tuber came of of the patients body and the attending nurse re-inserted the tube into the residents body.

The nurse allegedly did not check to make sure the tube was properly reinserted, resulting in immediate pain to the resident, who soon became agitated from the discomfort. They were given anti psychotic medication and a feeding solution through the tube. It entered their abdominal cavity, and the resident died from severe sepsis.

Do not let this be a family member of yours.protect yourself.

The staff is pleasant and they help me in so many different ways. This is my second home and I come here whenever I need to recover from injury or illness.

Honestly i cant even give this 1 star. My mom was there for a little over a week she died the day after mother's day of May 2020 The care was less than poor she called me every other hour of everyday pleadingfor assistance. I had to call the desk to get her help in her room. One shift left her in a chair all night to sleep. I loved my mom so much and these people cared less. No one ever called back after I left tons of messages to including; administration, clinical managers and social workers. I was really concerned with the care. They used the pandemic to be insensitive and incompassionate and lazy. No condolences ever said and her personal items were lost for over a month with no one trying to figure it out. I wouldn't sent my dog to be in their care. And honestly they may have a lawsuit! Whoever gave a good review God Bless you. They practically left my mom in deadly shape.

I have lived here for 4 years. The nursing staff takes very good care of me. The food is good except they don't cook the noodles enough. My room is neat and clean. I am not a social person so I don't attend activities. The bosses up front are good to me. I have had the opportunity to go to another facility but want to stay here.
