3This place rocks It's more of a collection than a museum. It's neat to see the rocks, crystals, and fossils. They have a globe where you can change the projection which was neat. I wouldn't call it a destination, but it's neat if you're in the area.
A tiny but mighty museum (and just a block away from the school's natural history museum) with everything/anything to do with geology. So much to see/learn about! You'll need under an hour, and it is handicap accessible. You'll definitely want to make this a stop!
I really enjoyed my first visit to the Limper Geology Museum. It is located inside Shideler Hall. I was thrilled with all of the wonderful specimens that they had on display! It's great to see all of the rocks and mineral names and the origin of the specimen! I will have to come back when I have more time to admire them all again!
