LivINN Hotel Cincinnati / Sharonville Convention Center reviews
18Beware! Horrible place to stay. Stayed here in November. My first review of this stay was deleted. Upon arrival, I was given a room which already had guests. When I explained the situation to the desk clerk the other clerk said, "Yeah, that's been happening a lot today. " The room and floor reeked of marijuana and the hotel did not provide soap in the rooms and ran out at the desk. In the middle of the night, police were on-site to arrest a guest.
Left a big bag of trash in our room, and the room smelled musty. Also they didn't have any soap or anything like that for the sink
I'd say this place is sorta mediocre. The heated pool is nice, the gym is a plus, the rooms aren't terrible. I do think house keeping can better care for the cleanliness of the rooms. And an issue I had went through; I booked a room for 2 nights through Expedia (Thursday-Saturday). I get a call Friday afternoon from the front desk, while I was out, asking if I was extending my stay. Obviously confused, I told them I had booked the room till Saturday, and they told me my checkout was today. I then forwarded them my reservation email, and they fixed that issue. But then they went ahead, and charged me extra for their mistake. The rooms deal was $245 for my stay, and ahead and charged me $283. No. That may not seem like a big deal in terms of cost, but its the simple fact that I'm being charged for their mistake is where my issue lies. I will not be coming back to this hotel next time I visit Cincinnati.
I booked two rooms. One room was very visibly dirty. Crumbs on the floor, dried urine on the toilet seat and bowl, used towels on the floor and visible leftovers of make up on the counter. The second room as soon as you opened the door you were hit with the smell of marijuana and cigarette smoke. When asked to simply have our room cleaned, we were told no housekeeping staff was available. We had to make a target run for a mini vacuum and bleach wipes. I stayed here 2 years ago and this hotel was wonderful! The desk clerk was visibly falling asleep while checking in guests and zero help with any issues.
Very clean rooms very nice indoor pool and excellent fire pits outside to enjoy very safe place to stay great place to bring your kids as well.
Great place to stay. My daughter and I stayed for a week while visiting family. Very comfortable, quiet rooms. Great continental breakfast. Good assortment. The lady that works up in the dining area is so nice! Very friendly and helpful. Give her 5 stars also!
Nice hotel that offers a nice breakfast and the pool area has fire pit areas to sit around and enjoy!
When we arrived to check in, we were told that their systems were down and they could not check us in. We tried to kill time at the hotel, then eventually gave up and went out to dinner. We came back 3 hours later and were still told that we could not check in. Just kept being told that "there's nothing we can do "We were cold, tired and wet from a rainy college visit at UC. My daughter had a sports tournament that weekend and needed to get rest. I'm sure they could have figured something out to get us into a room but they did not even try. So we left and found lodging elsewhere. Then I got charged by LivInn! I had to call to get the charge removed. They did agree to remove the charge. Very displeased with my experience there and I would not recommend it. Also, there were, "no smoking" signs everywhere and the place smelled like smoke.
Clean rooms and a comfy bed. Came here for a concert in Cincinnati and it was clean and quiet. Nice big tvs in the room. They also had a pool and had breakfast from 6am to 10am. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, milk, juice, and toast. The price was really good too. I think after tax it was around $90.
My go to place for friends visiting or just a night alone. Only thing I feel they should work on is kids running in the hall or noise levels during summer months people come to swim and stay a night. Always helpful staff the breakfast is good and prompt
The hotel smelled fresh and was clean. The staff was professional and friendly. Our room was spacious and clean. The hotel was close to restaurants and shopping. I'll definitely stay here again.
This place was awesome! The indoor pool was great & the fire pits were both an amazing end to a long day!
As always the livinn is great. Staff treats you as if your family and everyone is super friendly
It's time for some upgrades. Bath tub facuet constant drip. Toilet running and slow flush. Sink drain very slow. Stained bed linens. Strange and creepy after hours staff. It's ok for a quick overnight stay, I guess but a real trip, it's a NO for me.
I would not stay here! The rooms are very outdated and dirty. There was black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and area above the sink. It also appeared that the floors in the lobby and eating area had not been swept on a regular basis. Save your money and stay somewhere else!
I’d give 0 stars if I could! We showed up with reservations to check in and their systems were down. They just said they couldn’t check us in and didn’t know when they could and couldn’t do anything at all. They are worthless and shouldn’t be in business.
Rooms nice. Great access to the Convention Center. Complimentary breakfast was okay but that's about all you would say.
We had a great experience accompanied by friendly staff and a spacious room for our needs. The only downside was the vending machines didn't have much and wouldn't take our debit cards. Regardless, the price is very reasonable and would highly recommend for anyone who needs a quiet place to stay for a few nights.
